I do have a suggestion though for you to kickstart your series by establishing Ami and the characters around her in the first few episodes before moving onto to a huge plot.

Seeing as Ami's arrival sparks the interest of a few gladiators and she already starts to make enemies, she should at least make an ally right at the beginning who helps her out... Or at least against the dude who wants to kill her while she has a bear trap around her foot.

3 kinds of characters would work here...

1) Kind character who is very compassionate-seeming and wants to help the new girl out: I think Rosie's RHG is suitable for this. She'll be the kind of person who'd be like: "You should be ashamed... attacking someone who can't fight back etc" Ami would probably be sceptical and uncertain about whether to befriend Rosie straight away and would be shy. Rosie won't give up on trying to befriend her though. This will draw focus on what makes Ami seem so interesting to Rosie. It won't be the first time Rosie tries to help Ami out and as they get more comfortable with each other it becomes clear that there is something special about Ami. While the 2 of them might make more enemies together, Ami's special qualities will also attract the presence of potential allies - hence the people who have asked to be secondary characters. You just have to figure out your own way to fit them into the story.

2) The don't-get-in-my-way-tough-guy character: Either Nhazul, NovaDuke or Jomm who helps Ami out not because they want to help her out but because they have beef with the other guy and they immediately leave after pwning him. This draws focus on the mysterious motive of the tough guy character and Ami will automatically have an interest in that character and try to find out more about that character. In her endeavors to do this, she will get caught up even more in that character's personal battles and make even more enemies.

3) She'll be saved by someone for a personal reason. This character will probably have some kind of chemistry with her - a similar attribute(I'm assuming it's darkness) and an acknowledgement or memory of her. This person will either save her because they know her from somewhere - "mysterious past" because she is introduced as a new RHG in discord. I think: Shadowkirby's RHG would be a good fit here or C3whiterose's gladiatror ShadowRose. This will put the focus of the story on how the RHG knows Ami and why she has come to RHG.

You still don't know Ami's abilities and it's like you're thinking she's weak. Looks can be deceiving, right?
So it's not like she's automatically weak being a careless girl, you'll see how the story will develop soon.
Pretty excited to start the ep2 too.

Everyone in RHG is pretty skilled so even if she is powerful she will still need help and allies. Look at Goku and Dragonball Z. If Goku's enemies were all as powerful as little henchmen he wouldn't need 12 episodes to defeat an enemy despite his experience and vast strength.

In theory, an RHG like Charge by Salt should be able to kill Terkoiz's FL but most people would just say: NO FL is boss, he's won so many battles. While Rebellion could try and build up a status for Ami in this series, she's definitely not someone with a god-status. I'm saying he should also consider the power of RHGs in theory as well, not just based on how well the community knows RHGs for winning battles. Many of the RHGs suggested by people are not that well known, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're weak. Ami would probably defeat most RHGs she comes across in under a half a minute if Rebellion were to go into this series with the wrong kind of thinking.
