Congratulations for being the only one to show some class.

Nobody cares what it is to you.

Isn't graphics and animation technically considered art? Stick animations is the video equivalent of stick drawings, so in a way criticizing the artistic value of stick drawings is taking a stab at the minimalistic approach of all other stickfigure art forms, as well. I'm inclined to believe that- by association- you just bashed all of Stickpage...

...not bad.

Not meaning to be bashing but
Is this really art? Art is creativity, it is to entertain you, amaze you, and what you have there is just stickfigures standing, which lead me to nothing
Yes I know you wanna honor those rhgs, but what I am really referring here is your perspective
You wanna know real stickfigure art? Something like this http://www.fileize.com/files/4124d67c/e2a/endurance.png
Now I'm not saying that this yours is garbage, but c'mon man. Put more effort in your work, amaze us, give them action, like Yoyo bashing with Chuck's nun-chucks, not just standing there

Now don't get really butthurt man, but if you are gonna start ranting to me, just accept it.

If you wanna continue doing this, then go ahead. Idfc how you taste art.

I fully agree with you, I thought well what you said and decide to create a new image of RHG as you showed me, much better than the first, thanks your comment. : D

it's to plain in my opinion this may not necessarily be art but it could be a better piece with some more depth like fire glow's smoke particles

You may be right,'' nobody cares about what he is to you.'' Do not want to be rude to you
but this is my opinion of my drawing, each draftsman has his art and he sees what he wants his art, then this is my opinão whether or not an art, Chamel has his opinion and I have mine, you understand?

You're right here. I'm just so used to other shit around here, I jumped to conclusions. Statement retracted. It doesn't make me think any more of Stick Art. But I can see clearly that you spent more than awhile to do this. I just wish you'd do something else (which you have btw, I've seen your other thread).

And I'm inclined to believe that you are using Guilt by Association in order to prove your shitty point. Why don't you man up on your debate skills before you come back and even think about saying anything else.

Don't generalize my statement to fit your crazy premise. There is Art. And then there is Stick Figure Art, which honestly isn't even anything. This place used to be an actual haven for people who actually paint and draw well. Nowadays any kid with a pencil or a stylus and pad can just stroll in and draw some shitty figure and proclaim that they have created "art". The only kind of recognition something like that gets is to be magnetized to daddy's fridge alongside your macaroni paintings and A+ ribbons of the Spelling Bee for a job well done and some free ice cream.

I can understand the value of sticks in animation; they're easier to animate as assets and can often be an entertaining thing. But Sticks as an Art Form in the form of drawings? Go ahead and tell me what 'artistic value' Stick Drawings have. If you're calling me out for insulting Stickpage for that inane reason, then you might as well call me out for the shit your baby brother/sister makes as well what the fucking cavemen have drawn. Go ahead and show me any one of the greats who have done Stick Figure Art Drawings. Stone? Terk? Oxob? Yeah, there's a reason why nobody does it.

Stick drawings were never art. They're shit. And they have no value.

i think the problem is that people are just suck up's and suck their dicks even if they did shitty work or are afraid to say the truth giving them cnc will help them improve sucking their dick don't
also stick figures aren't art but you can still go all out with them and make a really awesome background and some epic glows and particles all i saw in this piece was lazy

exactly. Though isaac has a valid point, I hope he realizes that his pigheadedness to call art as his own, CAN only get him so far. Without the opinion that tells him otherwise, he cannot certainly improve or he will wallow in his own mundane world making the same kind of art over and over. I say can because he may just not really care what other people think and his concern lies elsewhere.

This is why I invoked the standards. If everyone has standards, there wouldn't be a need for dicksucking because people will realize that what they're sucking is utter crap.

Which begs the question: if he took his time to make the awesome background and epic glows and particles--lazy as they are---they why don't they have the capacity to spend even more time to present it in a manner without the sticks? Because that makes things irrelevant to this section?

maybe they are stuck in their own childish world of stick figures they're awesome in animation's but if they can't look at awesome in a picture don't bother even putting them in even just a bunch of swirly colorful patterned shapes would of been better
the opinion of other people is what we do all this for isn't it because it isn't just you who is going to look at it stick figures can only take you so far
tbh i think anything that doesnt live up to the standard or isnt decent should be instantly binned this thread is like is turning into an argument like on rokon's thread

Well its not like anyone else joined this party except for Storm from the time I made my post.

We had a disucssion about binning shitty art in the batcave and the ultimate decision was that we have no right. If anything, binning the thread doesn't solve the problem. It's jsut a deterrent in the longrun.

I'm open in the PMs if you want to continue. Or if WwhiteSshadow has brushed up on his Anti-Fallacy skills.

Does that have any value to you?
