This is why we set deadlines, so this doesn't happen. But if you think he is taking too long, you may count it as a forfeit, but if he comes back with finished work, he can ask for it to be put into a poll as usual.

When Vexor signed up for this site, he adhered to follow this forum's rules. When he got banned, he suffers the consequences of making battles and harrassing the staff. Maybe next time he'll think twice about risking being banned for TWO MONTHS (he'll be back on March) before doing something stupid again.

But to answer your original question, deadlines aren't really in the official rules; they're more of parts of an agreement you and your opponent make when you both commit to battle each other. You can both choose to extend it if both parties agree. But more often than not, it is strictly followed because people get lazy or people do better within a set amount of time etc. It's more of a private contract than a public stipulation. In this case, are you willing to wait until march or will you release the battle as a forfeit of the most extreme kind?

Well see this is a 3 way battle and I still have TheMagician as opponent here so I'll wait for atmost 2 weeks for him.P.S.:I started this because I'm already Suuuuuuper Bored
