Win due to opponent Lagging

If you ever win due to your opponent forfeiting due to lag, do you... fell like you won?

I do. If their computer is bad enough to lag out, then the mechanics of the game were altered and could have favored them. Plus, lag is annoying.

Yea, laggers always beat me cuz I always use micro during matches...
SE needs better server connections

I don't like winning through opponent lag out
but I feel it is fair and I am willing to win like this

because if they do not lag out, then the one who has better skill would suffer from the lag and lose unfairly

I remembered that I once lose to a lagger who has only 1500s rating
when I lose due to his lag, he even said that I lose due to bad skill and bad micro .... and I really feel angry about that

so I think it is better to make the lag out time limit shorter, probably 5 seconds . And make all the laggers lose automatically for fairness
also, better server connection is important as well

Yea, 13 seconds are way too long...
I will be lag to death

I remember once my opponent saying that I lag exploit and my com rlly didn't lag
and he won due to the lag that i couldn't micro well
then he kept attacking me lag hack...

Win by lag out = Okay
Win by opponent lagging = Not okay
Lose by lag out = Okay
Lose by opponent lagging = Not okay

Yes. If they're lagging out, screw it, their comp's fault. Besides, I get really annoyed when 1500 lagger noobs say you suck when they have 2000 ping. Not cool.

If it's Game-Breaking Lag, then I'm not ok with it for either person to win (It should OOS)...
*Game-Breaking Lag- Lag so bad that it is not just 5 second delays, you can't even select/buy units and upgrades and all Micro is outlawed due to the mass lag

However, if its a Countdown Lagout I'm fine with it

Yea, I've lost a few games to 1600s due to like 2000 or 3000 ping, it's kind of annoying, since if I could've microed, I would've won.

I believe that lag is caused by the connection between both coms instead of simply one com's bad quality
it may be the server problem

I also found out that with more ppl online (eg. 300 players online), matches are more laggy
but with around 100-150 players online my matches were god-damned smooth

so is the no. of players online affect the matches?

Server lag means both players lag. This (basically all the time) won't lag someone out. Lagging out is like...super hard to do.

This makes perfect sense to me. Some people I play against and I lag like a turtle, while other games, it's running fine.
