Obsidian was born in a very poor family in a small village; but they're lucky because her is a hunter; so they don't have to worry about foods, one night, the night before Obsidian was born; her father came back home with only a dead bat; he told his wife that he found nothing but this, so he made it into soup and let his wife drink it.
after Obsidian was born, a mysterious man came to her family's house and said he have to take Obsidian away because there is a soul of a vampire bat inside of her, and she will be a big trouble when she get older. parents didn't believe it and didn't let the man take their daughter away.
when Obsidian was 5 years old, wondered if she can get up to a tree or somewhere high above the ground; and when she thought of flying; she felt something on her back; it's a pair of bat wings; but when she thinks about something else; she notice her wings disappeared; soon she learned to control to use her wings.
when she got older, she had a new interest of collecting gemstones from a mine which she is not allowed to go in there; of course sometimes she gets into trouble, but one day; she found a white gem and it is glowing beautifully; so she brought it home and hide it under her pillow; the next day she notice the gem was gone, and when she look down at the back of her right hand; there is a white diamond shape on the back of her hand, that day when she was walking down the village; thinking about the shape on her hand, she heard someone yelling; she heard everything the person said but she doesn't know where it came from, but then she heard a sound of a window getting smashed; she walk down the road until she sees a house with a smashed window; it was 700 m away from where she heard it and she doesn't know, then there is an another object has been thrown out of that window; and Obsidian was about to gets hit by it; she cover her face with right hand at front and look away from it; and when she look back; she saw a wall of crystals, she was scared and runs back to home as fast she could.
after all of these; she had learned how to control all these powers, when she was 13, her father start training her in combats; she learn them very fast, faster than anyone her father had seen; and her father start feeling something is not right.
one day; Obsidian was walking with some of her friends, suddenly a group of people around 16 to 18 years old and starting to hurt them; Obsidian heard a voice in her mind: "they are your enemies, bite them......" she jump onto one of the people and bite him in his neck as hard as she can, this scared all other guys away and her friends watched in awe, after Obsidian realized what happened; she look down at the person she had bitten, he is dead; and she felt her teeth it's getting sharp, she ran away into the mine where she usually go.
Obsidian was hiding deep in the mine, curl up in a corner, she was really scared, but then she heard a soft voice in her mind: "Obsidian thinks she did something wrong?" she looked around. "know it's not Obsidian's fault, it's just Obsidian's curse" Obsidian saw the emerald beside her was glowing. "I've been cursed?" she asked the emerald, "yes, the curse of a soul of a vampire bat, it would've affect Obsidian's mother, but instead, it affected Obsidian. take I with you, help Obsidian in fights. " Obsidian put a hand on the emerald as it glows stronger, and it continues: "Obsidian just needed a little help, I help to fight, but Obsidian have to promise to herself never bite anyone ever again. " Obsidian hold the emerald up and say: "I promise that I never bite any one ever again...." she said it in a strong voice.
"every good" the emerald continues: "Obsidian have to leave this village now, there are a passage deep in the mine, I can help you find it" "why do I have to leave?" she looked at the emerald, "did Obsidian's parents tell Obsidian the mysterious man that tries to takes Obsidian away from her family? now that mysterious man will start looking for Obsidian again, what he want is kill Obsidian because he knows that Obsidian will get in his way.""yeah my mother told me about this. but why didn't he take me away that night?...""he know that if he kill Obsidian's parents first then Obsidian will seeking revenge on him, and when Obsidian falls into his trap, he kills Obsidian.""wait.... does that means my parents are in danger?!""even Obsidian's parents are in danger, Obsidian can't go back and save them, Obsidian have to leave.""NO I HAVE TO SAVE THEM!!!"she grabbed the emerald and start running back to her house.
when Obsidian got back at her house, the mysterious man was trying to kill her father, when he was just about to stab Obsidian' father with his sword, she held out her hand and a wall of crystals came up from the ground and blocked his sword, the man looked at Obsidian and say: "there you are..... now you were back for protecting your parents? well.... too late!!" he cast a spell and a blade appear and it stabbed her father.
Obsidian looked at her father and then look at the man, she can't stop her tears from coming out, "I don't care if your wish will came true or not, but I will not let you get away with this!!" and so she start fighting him but she didn't know that she is too weak to fight that man, even she can grow crystals and use them, but then she saw the emerald glowing and shooting light beams at the man and in a flash, it becomes a six pointed crystal star with the emerald on the middle and it float in the air, "need Obsidian to control with Obsidian's mind" Obsidian heard the soft voice again, she thinks about how should it attack and it worked, the star starting to spin and flew toward the man.
they kept on fighting, until the mysterious man swung his sword and it cuts Obsidian's right eye, this made her really mad and she tries to grow another crystal to attack, but this time she got a blue crystal and it shoot out a light beam that crystallized that man's leg, "finish him off! use I" the emerald spoke again, Obsidian make it move to the front, she start gaining energy onto the emerald, and it release a massive light beam.
after the fight, Obsidian felt her right eye really painful, "sorry Obsidian's right eye, it is blind now" Obsidian looked at the emerald "I guess I'll hide it...." she went back to her house and comb her hair to right side to hide her eye which is still bleeding,"Obsidian still have to leave, there is still people going after Obsidian." she heard the emerald speaking in her mind, she get out of the house and ask the emerald: "but where should I go?" "join the RHG" "what is that?" "Obsidian will know, I can help you"
