View Profile I have this wallpaper for a long while, I need to change it but I can't find anything interesting.
What's missing: Desktop sticky notes covering the right-hand half of the area.
EDIT: Wish I had my RWBY wallpapers back.
You can always have My Little Pony wallpapers.

View Profile I know, that's partly why I actually bothered uploading it. I organize things by column for the first six columns, past that and it's all "possible whims I might come back to".

you can always have a "Junk" or a "Possible whims I might come back to" folder. Just put everything there that would probably just be fillers on your desktop, and bam you now have more space.

View Profile SCREENSHOT PROGRAMS
Programs and methods you can use to get your screenshot.
Lightshot
-Probably the preffered among most users, simply press
prt sc and drag the screenshot to the corners of your desktop.
Snag.gy
-Pressing the prt sc button on your keyboard automatically takes a screenshot and adds it to your clipboard. Go to this site and press
ctrl+v in the specified box to upload your screenshot directly from your clipboard.
Screenshot Studio
-Much like Lightshot, this program works by simply pressing
prt sc and selecting the area you wish to take the screenshot of. Different to Lightshot this program comes with integrated photo editing after taking the screenshot. However it doesn't have a direct upload function like Lightshot. And it must be payed for, however there is a trial period for the program.
Am i the only one with a printscreen button?
How are you guys finding windows 8.1 compared 8? I actually dont mind not having the start button, but it would be nice to have. I've read alot that 8.1 borked alot of programs and games though.

View Profile At this rate I'm expecting a Windows 9 within this year or the next, or at least a 'major step up' that requires another generational shift.

Windows 8.1 , I'll give credits where it's due but I'm not that impressed with it. A lot of bugs have been surfacing recently, just yesterday I had to create a new user account because non of the metro apps were working for some reason :/. On the bright side the start button is back

I posted multiple resources for people who would have wanted to get their screenshot some other way. I'm happy with Win8.1 but I got rid of the start menu because It'd be much easier for me to just use something I'm already comfortable with. Rather than have to learn and have the new menu grow on me.
And nice desktop. I like the simplicity of it, what's the rainmeter skin in the bottom right?

I haven't noticed a difference at all. I don't think there was any major feature added that fixed problems I was having, as with Start8 you already boot to desktop and have the old start menu. I haven't had any problems as far as broken programs and games, I don't see why a minor update would break those things but it didn't happen to me and I have a ton of programs and games. The only thing I got out of updating was the variable sized snap feature which is only useful when I'm using more than one modern app (so, rarely).
I wish Microsoft would let me set the start screen as my desktop instead of a start menu replacement. I think it does a shit job as a start menu, but as a newer modern desktop it has more potential because it essentially does the same fucking thing your desktop does but in a slightly sleeker way with the live tiles and shit. The only reason I don't like it because it feel redundant, and definitely shows that MS didn't really think out the desktop/tablet experience correctly.
