On the internet?
I started getting addicted to a videogame, so I unplugged all the cords to everything without looking. That way I'd only take the time to fix it if I actually had something important to do. I still do this. Problem is the first time I did it, I managed to rip out something that was supposed to stay connected. Silly me.
In real life?
Euheheheheh. Two things come to mind.
Attempting to down a bunch of Soy Sauce for a hundred dollar bet. Managed to get it all down, but my face turned different colors and my puke was almost solid black. I felt horrible for the next few days, and I would gladly trade the money back if I didn't have to do that.
Second one isn't that dumb, but it's worth posting. Where I go to school, we have some really bad teachers. One in particular I disliked gave nothing but busy work, which I also don't enjoy (nothing against homework, but give me something that will actually help). So I didn't do any work for the first few weeks and wasn't planning to until I saw my grade drop from an A to a B. So I finish all the work and I get a wonderful idea. I continue to do work at home, saving everything, but I never turn it in. My grade, of course, continued to drop. On the day before they can say they won't grade papers anymore, I turned all of it in. Since busy work tends to be long and tedious, she got swamped not only by a few late assignments from other kids, but every single assignment the entire year from me.
She no longer gives so much work out. I got an A in the class.

That's actually not so dumb. Where do you go to school, I mean, in what country?

The dumbest thing I've ever done is step on a dead bee's stinger while barefoot.

Quote from RosieMissing my chance of dealing with this.
I was quite upset when I saw that had been put in the Trash Can with no response. That's the sort of thing the whole community should get to enjoy. Plus it's how you know you're a real moderator. I think I've seen threads like that for me, Deathwish, Index, Mantha, Deathwish, Deathwish a third time, Dragon077, ZuLu, and Deathwish.

Oh wow. People must have been really been pissed off at Deathwish
Though I have not seen one for Hewitt as of yet.

You're the first person I've known to say that like it's a bad thing, assuming your age.

Internet: Had a long distance relationship.
Real Life: (Young and Dumb) Accidentally setting my bed on fire lighting Q-tip, tips on fire with a lighter. It was cool watching the fire drip down from the Q-tip.. (If your a firebug I recommend doing it over a sink)
Edit: Got the worst a** whooping of my life...

Probably when i got in a drunk fight with two extremely drunk cops and a half year after that got my license and lost it a month later. That or when i were at my friend's party and started to piss out from his balcony while pushing really hard until i accidently shat my pants and had to run home to clean since all the paper was gone from his bathroom, doesn't make it better when your crush is there. ;_;

The US. Doesn't matter how rich we are, or how many fancy gadgets we have at our school to facilitate learning. If the teacher is doing a bad job, it becomes tedious and wasteful. I can learn a day's worth of material in an hour at home.
