Elemental openings!

Which Elemental opening is the best discuss.

THese are the ones I know. When I say miner i mean an earth morphed.

1 miner + water
1 earth + water
3 earth
1 air

My favourite openings is the 1 earth plus water as this is attacking and you are attacking with something other than earth as they fall short on sword wrath on 1v1.

1 air seems to me like a very strong start again Chaos, as they have no cheap ranged units.
1 earth + 1 water probably struggles against Sword + Archer though. Elementals would probably have to play safe and get another unit before moving into the fight.

Freeze archer, pummel sword until you get another Earth. Happened to me every Elementals game I played.

Say the Order player waits for a second sword, so now it's 2 swords + Archer vs 2 Earths + Water with equal eco on both sides, the two earths could stun spam the two swords with the ice to freeze the archer, with next to no counterplay. However, if the order player sends both swords after the ice/water unit with it's archer running for its life to its base, do you think the order player can get enough damage out on the water unit or lead it far enough away from the earth units to take it down before the earths show up? Earths are slow right? Please tell me they are slow XD

How fast are the water elementals? i.e., are they faster than archers? If not then the archer can just kite away from the water while the sword takes on the earth, but if waters are faster, then earth+water will destroy sword-archer.
Also, what if you got earth+water then got both miners to pray until 100 mana, then combo into a treature and focus on economy? Seems like it would be incredibly hard to beat, especially since order only has swords+archers at this point, and you can get easy free harassment.

after seeing a lot of replays, this is what usually happens
after the giant spam, we now have tree spam

you get 1 earth and 1 water
make the earth mine, while about the other 2 one mines and the other prays (or they both pray)
send water to middle
if there is only 1 sword/archer, try to freeze him, otherwise just make him lose time getting the middle (without letting your water die)
get another earth ASAP and send it to middle
when you have 100 of mana, get a tree

congratulations, now you pratically have in your hands 80% of probabilities of winning, since you can now spam units without end, destroy your opponent's eco by sending unlimited waves of no-cost units (don't worry, they can easily breach through castle archers and walls) and pratically forcing him to surrender without giving him even the possibility to buy a spearton

My opening is 3 earth elementals. With two i go to capture the middle point and the other one i turn into a miner for mana.Rush to alot of treatures and just win.TREATURES OP.

Earth is slightly slower than water I think, but still around equal speed to a sword, and Earths can be built in 4 seconds, so the Elemental player will get a second Earth way before your get your second sword (12 second build time)

Water is slightly faster than an Archer, trust me, I tried to kite one and I only got 2 or 3 shots in before I got frozen.

Make bombers and crawlers to pressure them or use the bombers to kill off the lightning.

Air start against chaos will fall to castle dead, poison will send him back to garrison while chaos can stabilize the economy and control tower momentarily.

Tree start is your only viable hope. Super effective on chaos (instant game win), but it's liable to lose against order sword-archer starts (even on medium maps). In fact this is Order's only hope at preventing the immediate base pressure, so you may as well just go with it and mass earths afterwards.

This list should really be:

Tree start
Tree start
Freakin Jurrag (fire + late earth, then grab mana to combine immediately)
Tree start

Actually this is me almost 2.3k playing Order against Elementals. It's tree or nothing. You're blind if you don't see this.

On short maps?

Tree rush on short maps will absolutely annihilate crawlers, bombers.
