I decided I needed something to keep me busy over the summer until I find a job. So I made a site where I'll be putting any tutorials (Mainly video tutorials) I make, or others have made will be put. Right now the site isn't 100% but it should be by the end of the weekend. Right now there is one tutorial for Hammer level editor for making a door. I must warn you, at 4:07 there is a terrible noise that sounds staticy. May hve been when I blew into my mic too hard.

http://www.straightuptuts.webhop.org/

Enjoy. If you want to see a tutorial up there, PM it to me and I'll make it into a video tutorials since video is always better than images. I'll give credit to the original creator of the tutorial.

Cool. Question, do you know of any level editors that'd work with TF2? And does Hammer?

Also, don't call me a jackass because I don't know. Just wondering.

Jackass, just kidding. :D

Yes, Hammer is used for all source games. Half-Life 2, Counter Strike, Day Of Defeat, Team Fortress2 and so on.

Download what, Hammer?

It's found in Steam

"Source SDK"

Then once you open that up, it'll be the top one. "HAMMER Editor"

Whatever game your trying to map for has to be installed, so you couldn't make TF2 maps properly without having TF2 installed.

Expand steam windows
Go to toosl tab
"Source SDK"

And what Pinkus said, gotta have the game to make maps for it. I'll make a tutorial on the basics sometime this weekend.
