I think it is apparent to many that Elementals are OP.
Especially in short field, they can get tree spawn in 30 seconds and in your front yard as order. They get center automatically because of tree spawn, so this lets them catch up quickly econ wise as order has to spam swords to MAYBE survive. Even elemental players who are honest who have commented on the forum agree it is OP on a number of levels.
I think the tree issue needs addressed and that dialed back. I also suggest that one thing that may balance is making order castle arches upgradable to fire arrows, with increased range and the burn damage.
I welcome other ideas to balance the game. As I think the toplist shows, chaos is also OP, especially in deathmatch. Time will tell how OP EE is, but as other players have stated, guys who just play order are tired of merely existing to provide rank points for pay to win players.

So. Instead of nerfing elementals to address the issue of elementals being strong, you want to buff order which is already plenty strong anyway.
Seems legit
EDIT: Reminds me of the old "chaos op" threads from way back lol "CHAOS TOO STRONG, BUFF GIANTS"

If you read, I also state I think chaos is OP, not nearly as badly as elemental, and elemental (like chaos) is especially OP short field battles (short field for DM for chaos is downright ridiculously out of balance).
In longer fields, elementals may be more balanced, but it is hard to say at this point.
While this aint' going to win me any like points, but it is what the facts show, chaos is clearly OP, as while they are a relatively small part of the total player base, especially in DM, they occupy 85% of the top 25 (I believe only 3-4 order players are in the top 25, a few have multiple accounts so it is really only one order player in the top 25 even if he is taking up 2-4 slots with his multis).
So, 80% of the player base is only 20% or less of the top 25...
But again, pointing out the obvious isn't going to make me any friends since in my experience people who spend money to have advantages at video games tend to be sensitive peeps...
www.stickempires.com/play?replay=replay4946130&version=1.99
A friend gave me this replay... again, it shows how ridiculously overpowered in regular match short field EE is.
As a few other players have pointed out, many of us love the game. this going to destroy the player base, but it seems no one cares too much even though without the free players, the game is doomed.

I don't think chaos is op, but elementals defiantly is.
Mar 7, 2014 12:43 AM #1171987
Then why is chaos 85% of toplist Dm yet 20% or less of total player base?
The math clearly shows they are over powered.

At this point it's pretty obvious you're either a butthurt order player unwilling to adapt, or a troll, looking for attention. Either way this topic should be closed.

Wow... that was an immature response. Or, perhaps you are a premium player who doesn't want your easy wins threatened? Or perhaps you are intellectually handicapped and can't follow simple math?
Or perhaps you have missed the posts even done by premiums who state that their are real balance issues that if left unaddressed will long term hurt the game.
See, some of us care more about the game as a whole and long term than our own petty little scorecards.

Well I actually strongly prefer playing order. I would personally like very much if elementals were balanced better, but the way you went about it in the OP wasn't correct. lol.
And again, I refuse to argue with a troll.

Make it more balanced... BY BUFFING ORDER EMPIRE?
I'm not gonna lie I died there for a moment. XDD
Honestly I have NO problem with Chaos and Elemental. I think Chaos and Order are perfectly fine; it's just the Elementals that needs a bit of tweaking. As an Order player I beat Elementals and Chaos players more or less of the time, and there are ways to counter some OP Chaos/Elemental strategy.
Oh and about how you said most of the top players are Chaos players, that only means they favor Chaos more, not paid-to-win. :P
Looks like you still have yet to learn how to fight back Chaos and Elementals. :P

so ok, elemental is op, chaos is op, everything that needs to pay is op
and those who win with other empires are paid to win
I suggest you to give up this game then
if you cannot win, then you say the empire is op, that is just a funny excuse for you to protect yourself
why don't you think yourself is bad while you blame the other empires are op?
Only if you use other two empires and then you have a 100% win rate, you have the right to say they are op, otherwise, you do not have the right to say this
you won't understand what will happen to chaos players who would suffer from giant mass and castle archers of order in dm
you won't understand what will happen to elemental players who would suffer from ninjas or swords spam in classic as well.

Rain, I seriously think this guy's trolling.
If you don't know, Rain is one of the top players in the game.
Also: Order is better than Chaos and Elementals. Chaos is UP if anything. Elementals is good, but treature IS NOT the reason they are good. (At least, not until end game...elementals' reliance on gold is so bad...) There is this thing called attacking their base.
So I have a suggestion for you. Instead of trying to instigate balance by making Order even better, how about you make elementals nerfed slightly?
#ButtHurtOrderPlayer #ThinksChaosIsOP #IsAnIdiot
I don't pull rank cards often but everyone posting in here is a 2k+ player, Mystery plays Order (for a while), Rain prefers Order (but he plays all), I play Order (some experience with other races). Fhtrg and Superterry, idk about them but I know fhtrg isn't a bad player. You KNOW there's something wrong if good players think you're trolling.

Actually DAZ, treatures are THE reason they're OP. Lol. Along with a handful of other things, but the trees are the biggest issue to address.

Alright, knock it off.
I don't care who started it, or if he really is trolling. sorrow started the thread in order to start a discussion about balancing the elemental empire. But when he started pulling bullshit statistics out of his ass, suddenly everyone is taken aback and calling him a troll. If every one of you just let your egos go and stick to the topic at hand, then maybe he wouldn't have to lash out accordingly and maybe you wouldn't have to call this thread stupid.
sorrow, quit being such a condescending twit. Everyone else in this thread, if you suspect his trolling then quit feeding him and leave the thread. Everyone else who is lurking this thread, stop fucking reporting this thread and calling him a troll when your behaviors are no different.
There better not be anymore talk about anything else besides the thread title topic.

If anyone would like to engage with the facts I have presented, please do so.
But it seems that most have ignored the fact that premiums comprise not just a large, but completely disproportional number of top spots on toplists. A number that is not statistically explained merely by top players "favoring chaos."
Sorry, I am not a troll, but a player who cares about more than just my rank and scorecard, but the game as a whole. Again, other players have posted about this including some premium players who are at least honest, and instead of be taken seriously, are ignored or like this thread, insulted.
Well, it seems we know long term where this game will end up.
And by the way, mrbatty, in terms of order players who can take out chaos players, I am probably one of the better in the game. I knocked off number 7 yesterday in DM, and another top 12 players as well.
The fact that order can beat chaos or elemental doesn't prove or disprove one is OP or UP. What matters are long term averages and statistics, which is what the toplists provide.
But again, it seems having an informed discussion about these things is not going to get anywhere. Nor my requesting actual, tangible ways to better balance the game...

For the top list, I don't thank its that accurate. We need to see players at all ranks
This is what I think it is right now
These are ratings
1000-1500: chaos is op since order people don't know how to counter chaos. Elemental op because same
1501-2000 chaos=order. elemental is slightly op
2000+ order>chaos because of more potential, but only a little, elementals are still slightly op.
If there are any changes, I think order should be paid since the one with more potential should cost money.
