I may not be able to see the video but if there is one thing I have learned about our generation now. Is that they are very mature, to the point were you would think they would be old men in kids bodies (Bad metaphor yes.)

But anyway I also watched a video that might relate to this so I agree, its quite touching to see them like this.

I'm not a big fan of Gandhi at all. He said that black people weren't yet capable of governing themselves and he was infuriated that South Africans put brown people and black people in the same prison together. Look at ANY view on homosexuality from 60 years ago. It was seen as one of the single most despicable acts in all of Western Culture. It was labelled as one of mankind's most disgusting perversions. See documentaries, interviews, memoirs, testimonials and any other record on the subject from 60 years ago. It all points to the same thing. This wasn't coming from bigots either. It was coming from intellectuals, doctors, psychologists among others.

Homosexuality from 60 years ago was viewed with exactly the same angst that Pedophilia is viewed now.

I think pedophilia is something different because it involves minors that can't really think for themselves or don't know what they want yet. If in 60 years humans mature at the age of 8 (like, sexually, emotionally, mentally and physically), then I guess it can be possible, but I don't think that will happen.

I mean, I can see a lot (e.g. incest*, necrophilia, prostitution, euthanasia) as things that may possibly be socially acceptable 60 years from now, but I think there also a lot of things that won't change (e.g. pedophilia, zoophilia) because they sort of violate some sort of right. At least, that's what I think anyway.

*not too sure about this one though. It gives you a higher possibility of having a fucked up offspring, so if you decide to have a kid then I guess it's still not a good idea.
