Nice work :D Your BG's always impress.
The animated one reminds me of the cars you sometime see in the BG of animations.

You gotta work on your perspective. The railing behind the train is under the tunnel. It looks ew :(

The image looks extremely flat, which is a common error with overusing flat textures in Flash. Try placing them over gradient and shaded objects with the overlay/add blending tools. Never use just textures on their own, because this issue is always bound to happen. Even a few of them can ruin an entire image.

Also, plan out a light source and make sure it has an impact on everything.

nice, but yeah what she said. It's a problem alot of people come by when using textures in flash.

Well، I mostly agree on what Arch Said, There's A very big lack of perspective, I've notice it even before coloring it, and I knew It'll Look Bad, So I didn't bother to fix it, cause I wasn't Comfortable by the time I was making it, So I had to accept any result, just To put that train on a proper Background So I animate it, as I didn't have a clear Idea On how bridges and stuff works, In other words, I had to improvise And @Present something while I was able to !
For using textures, I don't find The Bad at all, I really wasn't satisfied with one big Grey wall, cause it looks So Simple and not enjoyable
As I didn't Over use them,
