You like his videos. So? Does that imply on what we're talking about?
We never said we hated him or disliked him, we only discussed his persona irl and on his LPs (Let's Plays, if you don't know). Read the entire discussion before you defend; unless youre a fast learner.

Pewdiepie actually lives in my hometown.

I don't really know enough about Pewdiepie to judge him properly though, I've watched a few of his videos, just for the sake of this thread. Most of his humor is aimed at 12 year olds or just generally immature teenagers, and his gaming persona of being stupid and scared of everything definitely gets annoying, but I don't blame him for any of this stuff. He must make a hell of a lot of money, and although a lot of people hate him, a lot of others adore him.

The charity thing I'm not so sure about though, sure it's great and everything, but using it for attention to get more fans, subscribers and money, just seems a bit opportunistic. It's not necessarily a bad thing to do morally, as he is helping people that aren't as well of as him. But that coupled with his content appealing to an audience which generally only goes for one thing does just seem like a dick move.

Hm. I like the way how he expressed his opinions, but around 11:50-12:00 where he says he was trying to piss us off this whole time...

aougt hgaoitgaohgoiyaoiht

WAT

OKAY

IM DONE

YOU LOST MY RESPECT SIR.

*walks out the window.

But seriously what the hell? That last part turned the entire video the other way around. I felt more like I was being trolled the entire time. I was trying to be open-minded, listening to his every word too but---

Okay.

I admit this guy is smart but I do think he has some kind of problem.

If there is someone to judge Pewdiepie, then it's an actual fan of him. In every third video of his he turns serious and you can see by his actions, that he is a real man and can achieve a lot in life. (He already has. 8 Mil USD a year is kinda... Big)
People disliking him often have a reason like "Why doesn't he filter dat and dat," shit like that, but there's a reason he is the top one YouTuber.
Acting like a little kid in his videos? Look at his subcribers number. Now imagine that same number if he'd always wear the face u have while reading this.
He has a talent, any1 who opposes him either envies it or can't see it.

Have you not been reading this entire thread? Pewdiepie is a amazing person. His videos are the ones that suck. And no matter what he says about how he acts in them, it doesn't matter if the overall quality is bad. It's like saying you animate crappy shorts all the time, but every third, you say that they're just tests.

Also, earning 8 Mil a year is irrelevant to the argument. First off, we already know people can make up to $50k dollars of revenue in a day if they really wanted to. Secondly, what exactly are you implying: that youtubers who don't profit as much or don't profit at all are less of a man than those who do? Captain Disillusion has a mere 30 videos under his belt (2007 to present day, mind you). But he has far more interesting things to say than your idol of 1 bazillion videos. He's also managed to sell some DVDs and gotten some celebrities like James Randi to star in his episodes. Is HE any less of a man than Pewds? I doubt it.

Btw, the only reason why pewdiepie is so popular is because Youtube was designed to housed shit like him. Observe:

I already explained why Pewds is so popular. It has nothing to do with what you just said.

And anyone who keeps defending this lie is just another shitty fanboy. You're no different than stickmakerflash. You've offered NO legitimate argument to back up your claim, merely saying that pewds is manlier and richer than us and that his dissenters are just jealous. Noticing a pattern? That's what every single fanboy says.

How popular he is doesn't mean he acts mature in his content. Also, that's why little kids love it.

No shit people envy him, but not for his "talent", but his money. Who wouldn't want to put that little effort into comedy and get that much in return? A lot of talented YouTubers put much more effort into making videos than he does and get a lot loss.
