Hey stone I have a question! So in the past people have been able to pick let's say for instance Halo 1 for intermediate, and then another animator will pick Halo 3 for intermediate since they are technically two different games. However having said that I feel like in the case where participants are animating a game series the viewer should be able to tell which one out of the series that the animation is a tribue to. It bugs me sometimes to watch two different animations for two different games but not be able to tell that they are for different games.

What are your thoughts on that?

aha so you say that the game should be judged on storyline also instead of just using the monsters or elements from that game?

Not necessarily. In halo 3 it's all generic but if you were to make a halo reach tribute you should use armor abilities because that's one of the major differences between the two. Sure you run around and shoot guys, but it doesn't necessarily have to be storyline orient
