I try to be a bit more realistic with my anime styled art, its the style that I enjoy doing. If its the creases around the eyes that are weirding you out, or the edge of the cheek, try looking in the mirror and scrunching your eyes and nose and tell me how smoothed over your skin stays. In the end, it all depends on whether nhazul likes how I drew it or not.

Only thing really bugging me is the way his face is angled, specifically his eyes
I feel like they're a little too far up there on that angle, if you know what I mean

I'm getting what you're saying, I'll focus on the eyes/face proportions next time.
