There used to be a time when I didn't have a clue as to how I would animate New Jehu. I started watching movies such as Treasure Planet, Rise of the silver surfer ,spiderman 3 etc too inspire ways of animating him fly and probably hundreds of films/series for kung fu choreography. It pays off plus lots of movements are in my muscle memory.

As you can see the actual animating and stick construction is sloppy and wobbly in the beginning because I had not animated for a while, but the creative choreography came to me very easily. I didn't even spend a lot of time on it, it's like I just understood how their movements should be. I'm just trying to prove the benefits of my advice.

For starters, I am trying to help Venix improve by giving him animation tasks that would actually be really challenging.
Since he asked for it I can safely assume he doesn't want me to give him ideas for some epic projects. Just simple practices to improve faster.
And it is up to him that he accepts it or doesn't.

Really sorry for this Jazzon. But here's a screeny of my weekly part. And also a very short animation I made. Just something I made a month ago.
First was his Teleportation but considering that Rayze is using speed not teleportation. I changed it into this. What do you guys think?

I quite like the teleportation effects. Especially the black energy that lingers around his body briefly after he appears.

And this is completely correct.
I just want some challenges to give me something to 'achieve' and improve with.
I have plenty of ideas myself, but I don't have the mood for it (and I'm lazy, remember)

Anyways, let's get started on these challenges!!! Sooner or later...

@Rayze yeah I did, I was speaking about both animations. They both have black lingering effects particles, despite one having red glows.
@Venix, ok if you only want some simple practice then it's all good. However, what I said isn't wrong, don't rely on the ideas/guidance of others alone when you want to practice or unrust, because then you'll find it hard to improve on your own. Also I think that people have become to used to using laziness as an excuse. Everyone gets lazy, procrastinates and has other priorities in life other than animation too.

Nothing about your laziness in particular should stop you from accomplishing what other animators in the past have. After all, they've probably also used that very same laziness that you have as an excuse at some point in their life.
