Your reference isn't that anatomically correct either. So that was a bad choice. Aside from the body since you snagged a defective reference, I think your heads are what's throwing off your stuff. Mainly the jaw, and the hair. I do see improvement though, so keepa practicin'.

Yeah, what this guy said, the reference you chose doesn't have proper anatomy so of course your picture would come out wrong.
That's why I keep telling you to use an actual human reference but you seem adamant on not doing that, so I'm just going to leave it alone from now on
one thing that you got wrong that wasn't because of the reference are the arms and the clothes, so I'll talk about those, first of all, you still don't seem to have a solid grasp of how clothes work in general, so I suggest you really get into studying that when you have the time, alongside the anatomy stuff. another thing is that the arm in the foreground doesn't exactly give off the impression that it is touching the ground, it looks more like it's floating there. This is mostly the fault of the elbow and how it isn't lower than the rest of the arm, if that makes any sense. When your arm rests on a flat surface, you almost always lean on your elbow, which causes the rest of your arm besides your hand to be slightly off of the surface you're leaning on, that wasn't done here, and thus the floating effect you've got going on. Another thing is that the arm that's in the background, behind the head is in a position it could never be in with her body positioned like that, there would have to be some kind of shift of the torso for he to be able to do that, otherwise it looks really weird and wrong
I like the way you did the eyes though

Thanks guys c:
About why I shy away from using human references, is because it's hard.
Even with this one when its so plain, it took me quite a while to do it and as you said, it's still not accurate :I
But I guess I'll have to do it sooner or later.
I'd also like to ask you something Drone if you dont mind.
Do you see any improvement?

Then you aren't going to improve.
Your skills are only going to develop and grow if you put them to the challenge, and if you simply walk away from a challenge because it's too hard it's an obstacle you're not going to cross. If it doesn't work out, you have mistakes and misunderstandings of the human body and how it works, and with that, you can learn how to do it by understanding how not to do it. But when you don't do anything, there's no success and there's no failure, and that's a spot which isn't going to benefit you if you just don't bother because it's too hard.

What Charry said, and there is improvement, but you'd improve a whole lot faster if you were to put in more hard work and effort, try pushing your limits

Please tell me you aren't tracing. Drawing from reference yes but if you are tracing over the reference then it's useless.
It's nice, the lines are awkward and things don't fit like they should, but if you keep studying through reference you'll get really good. Keep it up cunt.
You're still trying to put in anime influences though, and that's fucking holding you back.

I can spend an hour drawing a stick figure and it wouldn't matter because it's still a stick figure. So what's your point? Just because you spent time on something doesn't mean it's good. When are people going to understand: THIS IS NOT A REAL EXCUSE.
We told you twice now to start with hyoomans. Thrice now you've decided against hyoomans. Thrice now you've taken 2 steps back instead of 1 step forward.
Some of us are adamant to give you advice, but I've said all there is to say. Because at this point, it seems all you want is for us to suck your dick with criticism and tell you you're inching slowly towards improvement.
You're not.

Well he's probably improved somewhat since his last drawing..
Apr 28, 2014 6:41 AM #1190775
Have you even seen his last drawings?
Have you seen what we've said about them?
Have you seen what we've said about them?

hmm I see what you mean.
Did you have to be so mean about it though?
Did you have to be so mean about it though?

There is being mean, and then there's being frustrated because someone isn't doing what he promises to do.
We've done nothing for the past 2 art threads but give this guy legitimate advice. And now he is not following us for the 3rd time. I mean, it's not like he was being defiant or ignorant in those old threads. He flat out told us that he was going to use hyoomans. He flat out confessed the first time and said he was gonna start there from now on.
I mean if he was all "this is my style deal with it" then I was never going to bother returning to his threads.
Who are you to suddenly come on and judge me without reading into the context of things? If you told someone to do something many times and they promise to but never do, you'd be pissed too.

Sh*t sorry man, lol. Sometimes I just automatically get annoyed when I read something negative on the internet. Don't want to offend you
Apr 28, 2014 11:25 PM #1190993
And I get annoyed when people automatically assume things like a blind bastard.

Mizu, it isn't traced.
