So.. I drew this last night to un-rust. I haven't drawn anything for weeks because of schoolwork. I think that the proportions are kind of messed up. The head bothers me, but my brother said that it was fine. I want to retrace over it in SAI and fix some anatomical mistakes, but don't really know where to begin D:

Sorry for the bad quality. I don't have a scanner so I had to use my phone.

CnC would be appreciated. Don't hold back on harsh CnCs, I'm trying to improve here.

This actually looks somewhat coherent. Unfortunately her shoulders seem to have detached themselves a little from her torso, a tumor is growing on her back, and her legs are a little too thick for her stature. You've also messed up the foreshortening on her left hand. The muscles may or not be wrongly drawn, because I've certainly never seen the deltoid be overlapped by the forearm for whatever reason. The pose also looks unbalanced, but that's hard to say considering i can't see anything lower than half her thighs.

Oh, and there's the generic anime face, except it's rather blank and boring in the expressions, and the head may or may not be cone shaped.

No other suggestions other than to grind anatomy. make sure you're using coherent guidelines if you are unsure of how the body quite looks from imagination. Sycra should have a tutorial on drawing the torso, so be sure to search that up.

Also, start drawing actual heads. Anime or not, heads tend to be round spheres with their sides cut off a little, and a rectangle or triangular prism for the chin. Even if the proportions can be made slightly different, you're pushing it a little hard here.

Thanks for the CnC Lobotomizer. I'll keep your advice in mind when editing this picture and for futures pictures. I found out about Sycra 2 months ago. He has informative and interesting tutorials. I'll check out his tutorial on drawing the torso.
