Okay So Here is my current Specs of my Macbook

Model Name: MacBook
Model Identifier: MacBook2,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MB21.00A5.B07
SMC Version (system): 1.17f0
Serial Number (system): W872314WYA2
Hardware UUID: 00000000-0000-1000-8000-001B632E401C
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled

I recently got My memory Upgraded from 2gb to 4gb and still dont see a major difference while playing League of legends.
Im running OSX Snowleopard and am looking to increase my FPS
I get 20 fps when running but when im near Mobs i drop to like 6 fps.
I want to be able to play at 40-30 fps. With sound on.
I turned my sound off and tried EVERYTHING.
So i want to know a few things

A: Can i upgrade My laptop for under £150 to achieve this? If so How?

B: Should I get a PC?

If You think i should get A PC i want to be able to do the following

Be on Skype
Record Gameplay
Get 30-40 Fps at all times.

And i have a budget of Near £150
Thats Like $250
I prefer to order using Ebay btw.
Thanks for your help.
If any other information is needed ill be happy to supply it.
Thank you

get a laptop if you intend to bring it to friends' places to team together.

otherwise a desktop is vastly superior

you can't afford it because you're wasting hundreds of dollars on a brand name

A $250 budget? I think you should try saving more money if you want to buy a laptop/desktop computer that has top-notch specs. $250 is kind of low I think (somewhere like P10,000 here in Philippines when converted). You can search "cheap laptops" in Ebay (never used Ebay before so excuse me if I don't know what I'm talking about lol) if you're okay with that budget.

Also, I'm not sure if it's possible, but I thnk you can overclock that Intel 2 duo so it can reach its max speed lol.

Okay ill search up overclocking and if i can upgrade that processor see if that makes a difference.
I use Mac because its Operating system has more to offer me in what i do compared to PC
Eg: Garageband for School Projects, Easy compatibilty with my Ipod and familly ipad, Imovie for editing.
i like it more thats why im reluctant to change. Not because its apple

Your problem is the GMA 950 integrated graphics card in that model of Macbook, it's not powerful enough to render those kind of 3D graphics at a high frame rate. That's why you didn't see much of a difference with more RAM and I doubt overclocking will help much either.

The graphics card and processor aren't upgradeable, they're soldered directly onto the motherboard and can't be swapped out. Macs in general aren't known for being friendly to hardware upgrades, if that's something you want to be able to do now or in the future you might want to reconsider your preference towards them.
