You need to practice reactions the most, you are focusing too much in offense.

Yeah, may be, cause when I was animating, I noticed that and I was too lazy to remake it. Sorry ^^ I was animating that at 23:00 AM I guess. ^^

I had the same problem once. I got around it by making the victim go backwards after the attack and forward again ready fr the ext hit reaaly fast. It exaggerates the force and stuff. its ok if the attacks dont hit. Just dont make it to noticeable.
