Baren grabbed his shield tightly and ran towards the fireballs, charging through them and absorbing the heat missiles with his shield. Baren hoped his team would move out of the way of the large blob.

Blocking some fireballs with her shield Hanna stood close enough from Aquila to be away from his blackhole but also close enough to help him defend against a counter-attack, while she tries to think quickly in a plan to defeat this incredibly powerful enemy.

Aquila was lucky for running the whole time, though the dragon rider's retaliation was quick, and the knife was thrown with amazing speed, the knife only grazed his side, and Aquila avoided a lethal gut shot. Something was terribly wrong. The dragon knight's entire side became numb before he realized what was happening. Nasharozael had told him about Aquila's powers, but he didn't know he was capable of this.

He had seconds, maybe less, to do something if he wanted to survive. Frantically, the knight whirled weak fire all around him, the very last of his fire magic, trying to find where the cloaked boy was. When he saw his flame whirl around an invisible, solid area that it struck, he immediately leaped away from him, hitting the ground hard, but safely out of the reach of his draining powers. His fire magic was gone, he was terribly out of breath, and the entirety of the Blessed One's team was beginning to charge straight at him.

It was time to activate plan B.

Breaking a small magical item, a small conductor of chaotic magic that was linked inside a system around the entire skyscraper itself, he sent a signal from the top floor of the skyscraper...

and down to the dozens of Demolitioners that resided below.

Their effects were instant. With a horribly loud crack of thunder and squealing metal, the entire skyscraper slowly bent in on itself, and began to topple down to the ground...

And then, surrounded by eerie purple light, the second part of the magical effect took place. The building's plummet slowed and slowed, until it was falling at a snail's pace, hanging suspended in the air as the floor rolled around them and dust, shattered metal and slowly-spinning shrapnel flew through the air at a fraction of it's normal speed.

Now standing on the metal of rows and rows of shattered windows, thousands of feet high into the air, the dragon rider gazed upon the stumbling and tripping Blessed Ones before him.

"Now, this battle is about to become truly interesting."

OOC: This RP is paused now, and it probably will stay that way for at least a week. We'll have to continue where this left off when I get back from my trip to Saskatchewan.

The flames burned, Aquila fell panicked as the red embers danced on his mask and lit his clothes. He didn't have to roll though as suddenly the building toppled and then slowed to a crawl in midair. He rolled and joined the rest of the team in a corner, the fires were smothered out by his rolling and the dust that clogged the air. He slowly climbed onto flatter ground, making his way up by jumping from hand hold to hand hold. He made it to the side of the building. His clothing was in tatters and blistered skin could be seen underneath. He turned off his camouflaged and tiredly took a his blades, his broadsword's wide flat face resting on his left forearm, and his other blade pointing at the ground as both arms hung. He was lit on fire and had executed a black hole, he could barely stay focused through the pain and fatigue, much less fight, but he had to stand strong. With the team, they could beat the dragon rider, the man was as tired as him, maybe even more so after being drained and using his fire magic.

I'm not back yet, but I've figured a lot out about whats going on in my near future. Enough to know that I can no longer host this. This was one of the funnest events I ever ran, and I look forward to hosting the next forum game with you guys.

Running this RP has been a blast and you were all fantastic, but I need to be able to monitor the thread quite actively to keep everything running smoothly. I can no longer do that, and instead I'll most likely only be able to browse Stickpage at the end of the day for a good while. This wont hamper my activity here enough to be noticed at all, but I simply miss out on too much of the day to be able to do this. So instead, I'll be sticking to forum games that revolve around 24-hour turn revolutions. Maybe Ill even design an RP that works on a system like that. But this...

What happens is that Max finally smartens up. He begins accompanying the group in each of their missions, easily dealing with the minions of Nasharozael by locking their corrupted magic within themselves, letting his students do all the fighting afterwards. They grow stronger and stronger with ease, becoming incredibly powerful in only months.

In the end, the battle is fierce, but and even with everyone's combined strength, each student being far more powerful than Maximillium at this point, the combined power of Nasharozael and Sirius still managed to kill Baren. He even killed Ai and Max. But driven to a terrfying mix of insanity and righteous rage, Hanna engaged the weakened Nashar in single combat, and came out victorious after a battle that destroyed the whole country as savage lightning split the skies raked throughout the lands.

But they were victorious, and Earth was saved.

When Nasharozael died, the corrupted magic he brought with him no longer existed. The Blessed Ones were returned back to regular human beings. It was almost impossible to do so anymore, but they all tried to go back to their regular lives. Hanna never fully regained her sanity, however, and was fraught with terrible nightmares for the rest of her life.

But they never forgot the ones they fought with, and they never forgot Max. Instead, they took each day of a purified world with thanks, and lived to honour their memories every morning and every night. And at least for the most part, they were happy.

This was a good experience for my first time RPing. Most people are relatively active, although god is a bit cruel and a psychopath, but overall it's awesome. 10/10

Although, what happened to Sirius? He's a super awesome villain. I'd like to see him to do something memorable.

I fucked up.

Sirius continued to be badass and show up to try to kill the Blessed Ones, but with Max around who was much more powerful than him, he could not do much until everyone began to surpass Max's strength. He fought with Nashar in the final battle, and was slain by Baren. But before he died, he vowed to not go down quietly. His life was ended in a suicide attack as he stabbed himself through the heart with his Blood Knife to impale Baren as well, as he was held against the man, being crushed alive by Baren's strength.

That's explained. Same with Liu, you all fought valiantly against Nashar, working together to defeat his defenses and wounding him badly enough to weaken him to just a small fraction of his full strength, so that Camila could finish him off after he had either wounded or knocked the others unconscious so badly that they could fight no longer.

Then they tried to live normal lives from that day on.
