I'm suggesting that ZuLu take off the "mood" feature. It's pointless and just adds a "noob" feel to the forum. **** you and shut up

Mmm, mood doesn't bother me much.

My quiz theory still stands though, I think the forum and quality of posts would improve 10-fold... I don't feel like explaining it fully right now.

Damn right. Although I never actually asked for it. I DID ask to be a mod again, or at least to be made purple. ZuLu told me I would have to regain his trust before he'd ever make me purple, so I started trying to contribute to the forums/portal. Hence making this thread.

Now then... I've seen one option even remotely worth considering since last night, and that's the ability to edit/delete posts in a thread that's been binned. But I'm pretty sure it's the way it is for a reason. Honestly, I think it's best that it be left the way it is.

I haven't had a chance to read all 37 pages in this thread, so if this has already been suggested, sorry.

Anyway, I think it would be helpful if when submitting an animation/game, the post automatically made in the respective review section had a link to the portal entry. Sometimes someone will bump a review post and to understand what they're talking about, I have to load up the portal and search for the title. I just think it would be helpful for those of us who use the forums more than the portal.

That's a pretty good idea. For now, the OP for each movie/game review thread can edit the post and put the link in. Just a thought.

I would like to see a "quick search" feature.

It would be located right under the title you type in while making a thread in general help. It would take the title and do a quick search of that forum and give you a sample of the results. Hopefully this would stop duplicate questions from popping up.

ZuLu cleared this up a few months back.
The portals still in the beta stages and he was working on this feature for the full version.
Don't ask when the full version is due because i don't think even ZuLu knows yet.
Hope that cleared it up.

Again, I'm suggesting something like the Gold Club Members in SFDT. Some kind of "VIP" type member for people that are well respected, but aren't mods/admins.

Well, the Honorable Members is basically the same, but the GCM's have their own section to post in, I'm sure.

It would work but how do you go about getting in to the club?
Just pm an Admin when you think you're respected?

I'm half way on that suggestion, i think it would be a good idea but it might make some problems along the line.

Well, I guess it'd be up to an admin or a mod to recommend you.

Same here. I'm not sure how one determines who gets in there. There'd have to be some kind of panel or something deciding with the power to add/remove people.
