Hinting at some sort of related solution then, perhaps? A public banning notice that isn't a BaNdAr (I guess it'd be pretty much the same thing... although perhaps you could find some way of automating it)?

Meh. I never had trouble with the BaNdAr back in my day. But I'm not going to say that just because that's how it was back then, that's how it's going to be now. So whatever.

Shoutboxs are pretty pointless tbh. It would just get filled and spammed with people going "lololol shotboxs are r8 fun." Even if it didn't, we already have a Chat Thread for off-topic posts.

They wouldn't actually get help if they asked that in the shoutbox. The shoutbox would allow you immature cunts to just tell them to gtfo without having to worry about getting an infraction.
