I kind of liked my CnC. I use to use line tool but a few people judged me and stuff. So it isn't really pathetic to use line tool? Because I'm use to drawing with a mouse but I really prefer tablet because I draw neater by hand. But I will do better next round!

TBH I'm so upset Foscex didn't make an entry for this round :( His shit is so fucking good.
Edit: Red Death? Who would judge you for using line tool? A lot of the greatest anims on Stickpage were made using line tool lol. Hell, Terkoiz uses the line tool a whole lot when he animates and everyone jumps on his dick.
Edit2: Wow, who gave Nordin a 5.4? That's lame.

I also think that score was kinda harsh, I'll talk to the judge and get some explanations n_n

Quote from CamilaLike for exaple, you should've had a better score than Pivotblimp's, his had a lot of flaws on his movements most of them were choppy and weird, the body was stiff the whole anim the gravity wasn't working well, but at least you could see what were the sticks doing. So yeah... lol
Well damn, that hurt a little. Sorry for trying something different lol. Although I do agree with the overall CnC, I wasn't particularly happy with my entry either.
Edit* Also Nordin, although that last skating angle was sexy af, the rest was kinda awkward to watch. Between all your other entries, I don't think it's top 3.

.... camila did the judges change since round 5?
Jul 5, 2014 5:29 PM #1215511
Savy, judges change EVERY round.
Sorry pivotblimp, is my honest CnC.
So I got some explanations from Judge 2's score:
About FL Nordin, although he did sync music and overall he had a few creative angle ideas and the way the background was put in was intersting, almost all of his attacks were tweens, which shows me a general laziness or lack of effort, not to mention that even his tweens weren't particularily good looking, well balanced tweens, (like the ones you would see in Fordz' animations for example, they were aesthetically unpleasing and seemed to take more away from the animation than add to it. Another thing that contributed to my score was the fact that the way he animated his reactions was just awful, like it was wobbly and incoherent and in general the movements didn't make much sense for being hit as hard as it seemed he was being hit at such a high speed. Overall, things I did like about the animation were as I previously stated, the background, and also, the one scene where the cracks appeared in the ground, because that part was well done and looked nice, but those two things were the only things I found really outstanding about his animation and the rest of it was so underwhelming that I decided to give him the score that I did mostly out of generocity and for his ideas if it was based purely on quality, I probably would have given him lower.
I can just only respect the judge's opinion. I hope you can understand now.

He does? When I went to his livestream this 1 time, people kept questioning why I use the line tool, but it was a long time ago I might be wrong. But I'll use line tool for now on.

And so my constant style for all the rounds of BSE I did so far finally pays off with a 9.5!
Seriously, that score was really unexpected. Thanks Judge 1!

I do think you should try out new things chewy boy. Add FX, some angles y'know, could be great.
Jul 5, 2014 8:49 PM #1215549
I probably should try out new things but this style is just really fun to animate and I think BSE is the perfect competition to just experiment with it. I also like to expiriment with angles and effects though but I tend to do that when I'm animating a full-lenght/RHG battle or whatever it is.
Basically I'm trying to keep my BSE rounds as simple as possible but I'll definitely look if I can do something diffirent next round, even if it's just a really small detail

Aha, I can kinda see what he means, thats one of the reasons we get new judges every round.
everybody has a different look at things, and every one of them look differently at certain stuff, stuff my eyes sometimes dont see.
its nice to get a CnC from the judge who gave the lowest score
thanks for you're kindness of asking him/her camila
