This is really wobbly, and looks like he's trying to fly with his arms. But it's too fast and irregular, he falls faster than he jumps and the feet are unstable (well, quite stable but not really enough). You need to put more work in the movements.

thanks so much for the cnc. Any tips on how I can keep my sticks stable? Everytime I try to redraw a certain pose with minimal difference from the last one, its like the strokes I make changes the how the stick was drawn. TY so much tho

CNC time :)

You were able to use easing to a decent standard and you did get the fundamentals on animating a jump right! Now, for things you can improve on.

Like Latranch said, your anim was very wobbly o_o. I strongly recommend using onion skin (If you don't use it already). Try practicing more with drawing stick figures quicker. usually, quicker strokes = smoother lines! If you seriously cannot use brush tool, try line/pencil tool.

"it's too fast and irregular"
I agree with this one here. Have you tried double framing? It's a good way to slow down the anim and useful for easing. In this situation, double frame when:
-He is about to jump
-at the peak of his jump
-He lands

Also, the stick figure isn't even going down that far when he jumps. He shouldn't quickly go back down since there is not much gravity acting upon him. Add more frames when he falls down :)

Finally, with the feet, it's the same thing with the wobbliness. Look more closely with the foot placement. The feet will usually never move unless you are moving and they have to be lifted. They are like "anchors".

Overall, just keep practicing with the jumping and you will master it!

There isn't much you can do but keep redrawing the stick figure. However, Stone did suggest something about stick figure construction. Always draw the stick figure one body part at a time. It WILL help you. This way, you don't have to keep trying to draw half his body in one go and just work in small areas at a time. Over time, you will get better. You just need to be patient about it.

Hope this helps :)

You must use the most comfortable brush smoothness. And as SSBro said, you can follow Stone's tutorial about stick figure construction.
But to use the brush tool, you need a tablet. It makes it easier. But if you don't have one and you're still uncomfortable with the brush tool, use the pencil tool or the line tool. The pencil tool is the mix between the brush tool and the line tool, it's easier and smoother for mouse users. The line tool is the best to me, it's really accurate, and you can edit any line at anytime without Ctrl+Z (like with the pencil tool), but it takes longer to animate with.

If you still can't make your choice or you don't know what differences are between those tools, I recommend you to watch this tutorial : click here.
