The first drawing was just me trying out some patterns. Most of it is improvised so it turned out really crowded as I kept having to cover up my mistakes:

After some doodling and figuring out cool new patterns I started working on my piece de resistance. This one took about 30 hours to complete and except for the circle in the middle it's completely free-hand:

And a close-up so you can fully appreciate how little of a life I have:

After these first two I decided it was time for something different. I've been really into calligraphy lately so I wanted to incorporate that into of my drawings. Here's the result:

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, these are VERY nice. You have a pretty damn good eye at reusing shapes to create interesting patterns that lead the eye around.
Your use of isometric-esque forms and line width are really eye catching.
I dont really have much to comment on improving these, but I would definitely like to see your use of color in these. I feel like if you use just the right amount of vibrant hues and keep about the same amount of white and black on the page it'd really create a striking image.
Seems like a good use of 50 hours if you ask me, possible portfolio quality shiz if you ask me!

Thanks! I really enjoy isometric art because of its ability to transform basic 3D shapes into 2D shapes, like an isometric cube is just a hexagon with lines through the middle. In future drawings I'll probably add colour but I don't think it suits the ones posted.

That's what I was going for, to confuse your eyes to the point you don't even know what you're looking at anymore, but you keep looking.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Most of my improvement is probably because I'm more willing to spend time thinking about what I'm gonna draw beforehand, nowadays.
