You know how you can tell I'm old as fuck? I still put my name in brackets in the title sections of my threads lol.

Anwho, I need to practice drawing more, especially with a program designed for legitimately drawing shit. So I'll try to make this a habit to draw a sketch/doodle every night and then posting it here so you artsy folks can write massive text walls about shit I probably don't understand, and all of you not so artsy folks can let me know how amazing I am. I'll let you guys decide which one I'm looking forward too the most ;D <3 u PL!

On a serious note, if anyone wants to teach me how the fuck to color shit in SAI or some neat brush templates or some shit, idfk. Tell me or give me a link please (This message is directed towards people like leo4life, graphite, PL, and some of you other gys whose names I should know but don't). Lemme know what you guys think!

Edit: I would also love some cool ideas of shit to draw!

Well, it's kind of hard to understand what's going on here. Even your rough work should be clear enough so that you won't have to explain to us what's going on. So thing number one for you to focus on is clean organised work. You chicken scratch a little bit too. Try to have longer more confident strokes.

The easiest thing to see hear is the Warlock, so I'll cnc that mostly. His anatomy isn't that great. His legs are too short and skinny, and his torso is too big and makes it look like he has a beer belly. I like how you remembered to draw his trapezius (the muscle connecting his neck to his back/shoulder w/e.) The perspective on the feet is pretty impressive as well. His right arm however, the one extending outwards, is VERY large in comparison to his body. It's very thick and way too long; when in a neutral position the tips of the fingers should be above the knees. This guys arm extends well below it.

I love that sick smoke from the explosion in the center. Really nice perspective.

You asked about coloring and painting. I've been using this site called ctrl paint. It contains an entire series on digital painting, from the very basics of drawing to painting techniques. Even though he uses photoshop, you can apply the concepts you learn to any other painting medium.

Oh snap. Winged demon on top of a rock spire conjuring the dead! I was sort of going for a gnarly facemelter type of shit with the guys down low. It's hard to tell without color, i get et. This is just a quick sketch/doodle. I wanted to spend more time on it but I only had the trial version of SAI and couldn't save it :(

This is some explosion I did. I started randomly drawing it and felt like fucking around with color. If anyone knows how to crop or shrink shit that you select with SAI, please fucking tell me. I'm going to try to work more with coloring later tonight probably.

I feel like Diablo right now, so I'll probably try to draw more tonight. When I start adding a fuck ton of these, I'll keep the new ones in IMG tags and post the outdated ones in hyperlinks.

Edit: Feel free to request some shit or give me ideas. I want to start finishing drawings instead of just doodling shit.

Needs more anatomy. Much more anatomy. If you are serious about improving I would suggest you steer straight for that. Loomis, Hampton or any of the books from the old masters will do. If not, Sycra/Proko/other good artists from youtube.

You could also do with some better composition. Straight horizon with the main focus in the centre and so much empty space around doesn't cut it. A different perspective would change things drastically. A worm's eye view of a giant demon bearing over some hapless burning villages. Also a more dynamic pose.

(That said, you really need to grasp the basics of form and shape before you do anything related to the more complex concepts such as perspective/composition)
