-he has limited Earth Powers, only a fragment of his old powers
-those weak powers usually support his close combat
-his weapon is a normal, solid staff
-due to his Earthpowers, his staff can become a hammer,
so he can switch between a fast and a slow fight style
-if he looses his staff, he can also fight with his fists. His earth powers increase the power of his hits. (a bit like Oxob's energy fists, but weaker)
-his left forearm is coated in unbreakable meteorite,
so it can be used as a defense
-he prefers to block attacks instead of dodging them
-he has fast reflexes
-with his Earth Powers, his "shield" and the possibility to switch between a staff and a hammer,
he is a really strong enemy if you want to fight him in close combat
-Metles is incredibly strong-willed, so he can also sustain stronger attacks and he will never give up.
Metles already got broken once, now his strong will will never break
-Metles can unleash his old powers (strong Earth Powers) for one single moment,
for one attack, e.g. he can create a giant wall or throwing tons of Earth on the enemy or creating a big earthquake...
after this single attack he is back to normal again. This weakens himself

Also, he has nothing like super speed, so it will be hard for him to dodge these attacks

Metles grew up in a small village in the mountains, the home of many Earthmages. Those Mages were able to create a big earthquake, they were able to move full mountains.
Metles was the best student in the Earth Mage School, so he got a master, a wise, old man. He lived together with his master, and after all the years he was like a father for him.
He became stronger and stronger and finally, he was the strongest. He was only 25 years old, but nobody was able to mess with him. His Earth powers were incredible strong.
He had a great life. But then, the catastrophy began. He heard the people screaming, looked up into the sky. And there it was. A meteorite, flying right into the village.
The meteorite was not big, but still big enough to destroy a house. What him feared much more, the meteorite was glowing green. Then, the meteorite striked in, only 2 metres
next to him. He flew away, was stunned for a few seconds. His left arm felt weird. He opened his eyes, the arm was black, black like the meteorite. He looked up and saw them,
saw them everywhere. Black shadows with a green glowing, attacking the people, killing them, killing them all. He wanted to stand up to dprotect them, but one of those shadows flew
to him, hit him in his face. It felt like his face was burning, he got stunned again. Was unable to do anything. And he closed his eyes.
When he woke up again, the shadows were gone. His village was totally destroyed, everywhere were dead people. He felt weird. Like he lost something. He tried to use his
Earth Powers. Nothing, just a flicker in the earth. "Dont panic!", he told himself, "I am just exhausted, that's all. My power will come back soon.". They never did.
Now he had the time to take a closer look on his left forearm. It really was black, because it was coated in this meteorite. He was unable to take it off, but this was not his
biggest problem for now. He walked through the village, everywhere dead. He found his master, dead. Something in his inner broke. He picked up the staff of his master and left
the village. He walked for a couple of hours. He still had just a fragment of his powers, and this really worried him. He reached a lake and washed himself. It was the first time
he saw his face, reflected in water. He had a big scar in his face, going through his right eye. It's a wonder he is not blinded. But this scar, it was green. He tried to use
his Earth Powers again. He actually lifted a small rock into the air, but nothing more. He still hoped, his powers will come back soon. They never did.
2 months later, he still had just a fragment of his powers. He learned to live and fight with it. He still had the staff of his master, and he also learned to use his Earth Powers,
so his staff can become a hammer. A staff is not the best weapon to kill someone. He still was a strong warrior, but this time, he came in trouble. He fought against an army
of soldiers, but they were just too many. He was nearly dead, when he felt something, his old powers. His scar was glowing. A giant wave of earth gone through the ground.
His powers held for only one moment. After it, they were gone again. He looked up. 50 Soldiers were dead, the other ones ran away. Now he knew, that his powers are not
totally gone. And as long as they are not gone, he will keep fighting. His strong will became even stronger and he was sure, he can kill everyone, even without his powers.
