Yeah, so if I were to get a gaming system (my dad said maybe next year, i've been begging forever -.- =D) which one should I get? Xbox360 or PS3? Choose your answer and please explain WHY.

Xbox 360 by far. WHY?

- It has sold more software, more hardware, more songs, more videos and movies, more consoles then the wii and the ps3. Ps3 is the lowest on the rank of the 3 main consoles. its the lowest.

- It keeps improving, and its proven that the online experience is bettter then the ps3.

- Have you seen the conferences? the only thing sony did was BRAG about the ps2, and the psp. They only showed like 1 demo from 1 game, and that was resistance 2? i forgot. MICROSOFT on the other hand. Demonstrated about 10 + + games, and promised and showed MUCH MUCH more upgrade that are about to come.

- Square enix, god of war, mgs were the only reasons people buy a ps3 mostly, cause all the other games are just decent, or the xbox has the same. And its proven by many votes that if they could choose between xbox 360 and ps3 that they would buy the xbox 360 game.

Also Square enix now saw that ps3 was going downward, and went to microsoft haha. while square enix was at sony all these years.

If you have seen the press conferences you know which one is best. Microsoft showed demos, videos, new features of the xbox 360. they didnt even MENTION the old XBOX. we want info on the new generation stuff. Sony was mostly talking about the psp and ps2.

Hmm...Xbox 360. more good titles to come within the next year such as fallout 3 and gears 2.

Only good games I can thing of are gears, halo, and games that are either multiplatform or simply timed exclusives.

Xbox 360, as of right now it has a more solid lineup of games and other things to keep you busy.

Gears of War

Too Human (in the future)

Gears II (At some point)
AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS

Personally I think the Xbox is a more solid console with more things to waste your time coming out soon, avatars, community games, etc.

But PS3 is probably really going to hit it's stride, not in hardware sales, but in games in the next couple of months with games like Little Big Planet, Resistance Two, God of War III, etc.

Your parents would probably like you more if you buy an Xbox, because it's about three hundred dollars cheaper, but you have to pay $50 a year for Xbox live, and if you need a wireless adapter it costs around $90.

Chim, you dont realize that just about half of those games arent exclusive to the platform.
Most of those games are coming to PC as well as some of them coming/are already on the ps3.
