So, I'm a bit of a generalist as far as creating music.
As far as production goes I'm sort of an all in one package.
I love to create experimental and guesswork music, but I've managed to get into music that's more within the constraints of genres.

I have a rig for selective noise removal, but generally speaking you're going to want the recording to be as clean as possible anyways.
Because it's extremely hard to clean a recording that was bad in the first place without destroying some of the sound you want to preserve.
Best recommendation is to record two or three times and then pick up the parts you want to keep and then clean it after you've made your Frankenstein out of them.


Also if I recall correctly, Exilement(Prospect) got me back into music when I was at a dead-end with it back in like 2009 or 2010.

not really, most of the noise is in the higher frequencies that you want to filter out anyway. as long as the room is quiet and the microphone is actually a microphone and not attached to a pair of earphones or something, there shouldn't be any problems. if those two criteria aren't options for someone, they probably shouldn't be contributing to this. it's not asking much.
