Yeah! Definitely! It's awesome! That is the one of the best Pivot anims I have ever seen!

(Although the explosion seems to be cut off short. There's no aftermath.)

you clearly haven't seen a lot.

Nextris,Your animation is incredibly choppy to the point where it is almost a slideshow. and the parts that are actually animated are so fast that it barely is significant.

Yup. Your right I havent seen a lot. Because I normally don't see pivot animators. Most use Flash.

The only pivot animators I know are me, metal, this guy, Zex0, Apollo01, DragonCurse, Phantom121something, maybe Waffles Mgee, and a few others.

Don't be sad, improve. Aspire to be as good as them or better. Practice, improve, and then practice some more. Rome wasn't built in a day and every animator started where you are. You aren't the worst and you have a good sense of style. Just make the effort to actually animate rather than put a bunch of supposed suspense-creating scenes.

This is where I started:

This was my last none-test pivot before I moved to flash:

In between that is 2 years of practicing and learning.

Im good at creating the 3d scenes and angles in pivot and I can animate a little but the only reason u don't see me fluidly animate that much in my anims is cuz I have probs with which fps to use and how far to put the 'stick part' from the onion skin. Cuz of that I kinda suck at martial arts :L
In a way I would kinda say I consider myself like resh. I kinda mostly focus on 3d than 2d like most pivot animators do

Do you watch easing tutorials and rewatch your anims? I believe pivot has that preview button. Watch a bunch of tutorials, learn stuff, practice. Its not difficult, it just takes time and dedication.

You've fallen into the problem of focusing too much on presenting your work, rather than just simply getting on with it.
The angles are okay, but this honestly looks like a storyboard than an actual animation. The only things that actually have any legitimate animation aren't even yours. You're putting far too much effort into fancy angles than actual animation. Stuff like this happens a lot when people jump into this sort of thing before learning the basics.
You should learn about fluidity and actual movements before putting stock droidz effects and figures (a lot of people do this), and learn the basic principles. Having a vast knowledge and lots of experience in the basics are the only that's going to give you any change of doing anything in this advanced sort of field.

Try focusing on simple tests, like a simple running cycle, a jump or a 2-3 hit combo or even just one simple attack before you try this sort of thing. It really pays off.

Define "presenting you work". I don't really understand that phrase. Lol.
