Dante gripped harder and harder until Kor spoke his last line. Dante's face contorted into something no one had seen from her. Sadness. Dante was trying her hardest to fight Kor but every single attempt she made seemed to do nothing except waste her time. Letting go of her leader she flopped onto the floor on both of her knees, slumped down to where her hair was covering her face. Her arms laid limp at first until she raised them up and slammed them on the floor screaming for three seconds straight. Her eyes closed tight as tears finally hit the ground, now broken. Shaking violently Dante huffed from time to time through her teeth all she could feel was pain, constant burning pain. "I did everything for her. My entire existance... is for... her..." Dante choked her words out as she brought her tight fists up to hug herself and slump forward even more. "I was made before her... to protect her before she was even made. And... now..." Opening her eyes she looked at the tears on the floor she shook her head. "I didn't do my job. I failed..."

Sebastian shook away any grogginess that still clung onto his mind as he observed his surroundings. It reminded him too much of the Augors and he didn't like that, not one bit. He looked and saw Nikolai staring back and observing things just like him. "Hey Nikolai, glad to see you're okay and that no one's dead. Did you go through a nightmare like me?" He turned and saw Iris strapped in next to him. "Psst Iris, wake up... Iris?" She seemed to be having a difficulty breathing, sweat covered her face, and her eyelids flickered, signalling that whatever she was going through would be qualified as a nightmare.

He struggled in his bonds but couldn't break anything, surprise surprise, "Iris, wake up! Iris it's all a dream wake up!" He shouted. People who die in their dreams don't die in real life, that's only in horror movies, but the circumstances they're in now could pertain to a horror movie so who knew what could happen to Iris if she didn't wake up. "Iris please! Wake up!"

Still with her eyes closed and her heart broken inside, her hands felt a weird texture as Iris was still holding sebastian on her arms, when she felt that his body was changing she pushed him away in panic and took a few steps back.

Apparently Sebastian mutated into a horrible monster and told Iris that she would never escape from him unless she escapes from herself... Still quite confused for what was happening Iris couldn't react to the monster's next attack and grab her by the neck once again. Iris didn't have her crossbow this time and started to scratch the monster's hand to set herself free once again but... she started to think "Maybe I should just give up.... I can't hurt again the person I love..." her hands were now just holding the monster's arm, waiting for him to just kill her off, she let another tear roll down her face as she closed her eyes and waited for the worst...

Then she suddenly heard a voice "You promised...", Iris opened her eyes and looked around, she thought to herself "Sebastian??...", the lack of air started to affect her body and made her feel desperated, Sebastian's voice could be heard again "You promised me that you'd live no matter what..." a flash back came to her mind, a conversation that Iris had with sebastian a while agowhere they promised eachother to stay alive no matter what happened... "I remember now..." she thought, "I'm sorry Sebastian... I'll keep my promise...". Iris took the monster's hand with both of her hands and squeezed it as hard as she could "If I die... I won't be able to think about you anymore nor my family, I can't let that happen". Using the impulse of her legs, Iris performed the se movement as before but not letting go the monster's arm, she impulsed herself backwards with enough strenght to make her enemy lose his balance and fall to the ground with her, in the moment that her back reached the ground she kicked the mutated sebastian as hard as she could to make him fall behind her and free herself from his claws. In that moment, she took a deep breathe and stood up as fast as possible ignoring the pain on her neck and ribcage to make the run for her crossbow, she tumbled forwards to reach it faster and then Iris' body spin in 180° facing the monster once again, "You're not the real Sebastian... at least not anymore", Iris shot a burst of red arrows in the second that she could focus her target, as the arrows came out of her crossbow she thought "I have to keep my promise...".

Nikolai awoke with a start, the lasting image of Sirius' face contorting into one of pure, unfiltered rage leaving an everlasting image in his mind. After a moment, his strength outdid the restraints on his body, and he forced himself into a sitting position. Disorientation hit him rather quickly, but he could see that Sebastian was awake as well. All around him he was flooded with the noises of machines whirring, and noticed the rest of his companions were still under their nightmare-induced trances...including Anna and Dante.

Fighting back the initial pull to wake them up with force, he noticed that Sebastian was doing just that. Nikolai shot up standing erect, and putting his grimed hand forcefully upon his shoulder, pulling him back slightly. "That's not going to help, Sebastian. Iris has to fight her own fears. It's up to her mind's will to awake from her nightmare alive."

He glanced towards Dante and Anna, and felt the same that Sebastian did just now. He hoped they were able to overcome the horrific night terrors.

Mason wanted to be taken off guard, but he didn't let himself. He simply fell back to the ground with Nosam ready to fight him. Mason took a deep breath, he knew that his reflection wasn't going to play fair... but he had no choice. "Fine then, ladies first." He would've thought this insult through if he could... it wasn't the best idea to call his reflection a lady because of obvious reasons. He took up a stance and waited for Nosam to move.

Anna suddenly awoke and quickly jumped to her feet, swiftly removing the machine on her head and breaking the restraints with her powerful forcefields. Looking over at Nikolai and Sebastian a devilish smile crept over her face. "Hey guys! I had a little conversation with my inner self in there. I know how to shut down these machines and wake everyone up before anything can happen to them in their nightmares! " She stated proudly. "This way!" She shouted as she moved quickly over to a door. "This door has a secret code, but my inner self told it to me. I can access anywhere in the facility now! I can't wait to see the look on these fraysan losers ugly faces after they see how strong I've gotten!" the door whirred open after Anna had punched in a series of keys. "Alright Sebastian, you stay here and protect the group. Nikolai you come with me. We'll go shut down this nightmare making machine stuf-" the little girl stopped mid sentence as she turned towards the door way where Sholdra now stood.

"You're stronger than I thought, you ignorant brat." spat the original necro.

"I don't have to be strong to defeat someone as weak as you." the young girl retorted, tensing her muscles in order to throw a forcefield up in anticipation. Nikolai were nowhere to be seen, this was not a good situation to be in.

"Weak? HA HA HA HA! Die." Suddenly Sholdra ripped forth with a powerful spiked foot from her spider-like legs. The appendage met directly with one of Anna's strongest forcefields, and easily broke through. The spike pierced the little girl's stomach and time seemed to stop still. Drops of blood began to flow from her dress as her clothing was soaked in crimson liquid. Nikolai's pain filled roar seemed to shake the heavens and cause time to start moving again. Sholdra quickly pulled her stinger out of the girl and commanded the door to be closed, followed by blast restraints. Not even Kor could break through these doors now. Anna fell backwards, blood gushing from her wound. Everyone had awoken from Nikolai's battle cry, all of them struggling to free themselves. Dante was the first up, already sprinting over to be by Anna's side.

"Styx..." the warrior woman whispered, tears filling her black eyes.

The little girl before them gasped and sobbed. Pain showing itself clearly through her vision. They had nothing to heal her, and even if they did the wound was caused by the original necro and was impossible to heal. Nikolai held the little girl's hand, thoughts racing through his mind as to how to help her. Her sobbing grew silent, the pool of blood around her continuing to grow. Tears filled everyone's eyes, the sadness of the moment overwhelming them. Through it all Anna had been a beacon of perseverance, their leader, and most of all a friend to every one of them. She had never given up and would of kept fighting no matter what, but now she was gone. Mason was the first to make the realization. He turned around and saw three people still unconscious, and another missing. Michael, Bub, and Jason all still lay on their operating tables, not waking up. Zero, the cyborg from Michael and Jason's group was missing completely.

The door opened up once more and Nikolai had to restrain himself from attacking immediately. Standing in the open doorway was Mei, the woman they had met but once who had guided them to the drill so long ago.

It all happened so fast.

Heat of the moment.

Another dead.

He had been comforting Sebastian, taking him away from Iris, when Anna suddenly awoke from her slumber and fought to release herself from the daunting restraints. She said she knew how to stop the nightmares...how to wake the rest of the people up. Without another word, she opened the door beside them, telling them her plan, and Nikolai's eyes widened. It was Sholdra.

She tried to raise her forcefield and act confident in the face of danger, just as she always had. However, this time, it was going to cost her dearly. The sheer power of the stinger crashed through the force field, shattering it before impaling her through the stomach. Time seemed to stop as the mercenary watched Anna, a person who was like a sister to him, the person who made him slightly human again....lose the life from her eyes.

As time went on once again, the doors closed, adding layers that even he couldn't break in his rage. The others had woken up, and Dante was cradling Anna, looking down at her as she gasped and sobbed. He looked down at her with his pale red eyes as the pool of blood grew larger with every passing second. Then...She was gone.

Emotions flooded into him all at once. Sadness was the first thing. An utter and crippling depression that overcame him at the loss of their leader, his friend, his sister. The only part that was worse than this loss...was that she died in pain. Searing, horrible pain. Then, there was anger at the fact that he could not have done anything to stop Sholdra from destroying her. He was...too weak. Too feeble.

He unknowingly had his hand on Dante's shoulder, using her as something to lean on, for support. He was silent, his voice gone. All of these emotions that flooded him were suddenly gone. He frowned. Now, there was nothing. Nothing but pure, unadulterated anger.

He walked toward the door that Sholdra was in and rammed his heavy fists against the inpenetrable metal, screaming at Sholdra who was more than likely within. All of that anger, flooding out as his hands began to bruise and bleed from constantly punching it at the top of his lungs. It was until the door reopened that he stopped. She answered his call.

But no, it was Mei, someone he hadn't seen since the beginning.

In another fit of rage, one of his hard fists that were bleeding crimson blood glided to her cheek, knocking out at least a few teeth if she didn't dodge it. "Where the fuck have you been? Actually, where were you thirty seconds ago?! One wrong move and I'll splatter your brains on the wall!"

His powerful claws ripped through the soft flesh of the police enforcers. Their small guns proved to be of little use against Bub's now tough skin. A SWAT van pulled up and several men came out of the back, carrying much bigger weapons. Their bullets left searing stings in Bub's hide, who immediately turned to face his new opponents. Suddenly another man jumped out of the van carrying a grenade launcher. Bub doubted he would be able to take many of those.

Fleeing was not an option he'd thought in his mind. All he wants to see and hear are the terror of those who opposes him. He lift up one of the police car nearest to him and throws it towards the grouped up swat team, aiming for the grenade launcher wielder.

Demon did a double-take when looking at Michael instead of the loaded gun. He looked over to Zero, his own comrade, now pointing his monstrous machine gun at Demon too, only finding another reason to stay down.
Demon gritted his teeth with such a force, he wasn't allowing himself to talk for a good 10 seconds.
"Look at me Michael. I couldn't possibly be infected Michael, i would've felt the marks on my body and noticed my condition already." he grumbled. His anger in his 'faithful' friends was rising. Could he be mistaken or is he just damaged in the head?
Where the fuck was he...
They both aimed at Demon silently with no hesitation, showing no sense of remorse, sympathy or emotion.
This felt much too strange...
Somethings not right here
My brave leader looked at me like i was a monster, not a friend he once knew. His actions represented the soldier in him, a rough and brutal man that only focuses on one thing. SURVIVING.
In the moments he met me, he laid a fist into me and pointed a gun at my head. Within seconds, he diagnosed me with something i knew i wasnt. He gave no underlying breath after that accusement, and stands ever still, ready to kill me.
These were not the actions of a friend, and no reactions or words at all weren't helping the case.
"Where the fuck have you been Michael!? We've been looking all OVER for you and now my best friend and search partner are aiming at me!? WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!!?" shouted Demon.
He rose onto his knee, bending his figure forward like he was crouched on one knee picking something up off the floor.
His hammer was near, but his decisions were faulty and hesitant.
Please don't give me a reason to grab it Michael...

Mason was snapped awake by yelling, and he was in too much of a daze to even really catch on to what was going on. As soon as he broke free from his restraints he went over to where everyone was... and he saw Anna dead. He didn't know what to think. He hadn't gotten as close to her as the rest of the group had, but she was still the brains of the operation, and the leader. He saw Dante cry over her dead body, and Nikolai scream to the heavens, Mason just stood there stunned. In the midst of it all Mei appeared from the door Nikolai was previously bashing in. As if he wasn't confused enough, now an old face returned from no where. Nikolai was ready to fight, but Mason didn't want anything to start up. "Nikolai... please don't hurt her." Mason muttered, loud enough to be heard but he still couldn't focus on anything or anyone. "We... We don't want any trouble Mei... jus... just please tell us you're on our side." He turned to Mei as he tried his best to focus. Mason wanted to trust her, but she DID magically take the place of Sholdra. He tried his best to regain complete focus, just in case he didn't like her answer he could try out his apparently new mind reading ability. It shouldn't hurt.

Iris woke up suddenly, still breathing heavily and cold sweat running down her face, quite confused for what just happened. Her ears were trying to catch up on what was happening as she thought "Everything was just a nightmare?...", she then remembered what happened before she wake up, "Sebastian!" She said loudly, Iris started to look around and there he was, back to normal and on his feet... alive... Iris quitly took the rest of the restrains away from her and ran to him hugging the boy tightly, she couldn't do anything but cry of relief, saying between her tears "I-- I thought you were dead...". Iris stayed with him letting everything out "I'm so glad that you're alive" hugging him tightier with each word.

She then took a look to her surroundings, apparently everyone was having the same problems, Iris then saw a pool of blood on the floor and judging for who were around... apparently Anna was the one hurt, looking more carefully Iris saw the pale tone of her skin, no signs of life were left. There was no need to say it, she was gone... she covered her face by placing it on Sebastian's chest trying to don't look at the sad scene, after a few seconds she asked in a tone loud enough for Sebastian to hear "How did this happen..."

Sebastian ran his fingers through his hair, spiking it back and clutching it tightly. He let go and the sweat in his hair left the spikes up. He just watched a little girl die in front of him and he couldn't do anything about it. Anna was dead... He grit his teeth and he looked at Mei, who had opened the door of the room they were trapped in. Nikolai was taking his anger out on her while Dante was still sitting on the floor, clutching Anna's corpse and crying.

He was knocked out of his thoughts, and quite literally, as Iris ran up and hugged him tightly. He ran his hand down her hair, let it ride down to her back, curled it underneath her arms, and hugged her. "Of course I'm alive silly," he kissed the top of her head. "Let me tell you that it wasn't easy however." He barely chuckled at the weak joke.

He cringed at her question, he knew what she was talking about and could only hug her tighter and say one word hoarsely, "Sholdra."

Mei held up her hands, showing she was no threat. "Woah holy shit calm down." Looking down Mei spotted the body of Anna. "Damn... I was too late. I wanted to reach you guys before Sholdra did. I'm sorry... Listen, I'm gonna give you guys a choice. The leader of the Clergy is here, her name is Hura. You can go after them or you can come with me somewhere safer. There's an outpost near here of survivors, soldiers who have teamed up with civilians to make a sort of fortress. I'll let you decide if you want vengeance or if you want rest."

With that Mei began to turn, but stopped herself. "By the way, what are yo guys gonna do with those three?" She asked, pointing to Michael, Jason, and Bub.
