View Profile Yeah I really appreciate Hewitt doing this for those guys, so I'll try my best to help out by doing some cnc's. It would be awesome if more of the experienced animators partake too, because I'm sure they have way more insight.
Alright. Zero will try his best because Zero wants to help too.

View Profile Lurking I guess, they don't have much to say. Meanwhile I'll explain my thoughts on my poll choices:
The silent treatment won over simply because RHG battles are (kinda) coordinated activities. Communication between them is important, the participants need to coordinate with each other and check their statuses. Going silent leaves the other person hanging and the waiting time is drawn out. The "I'm Busy" shtick is similar to the above but at least you have a line of communication, of course most of the time he's just delaying it. The end result is still the same.

All of these animations(Except Dr. Breadgun's and G0Mute) are really lacking in 2 important aspects:
1.) Proper SFX.
2.) Appropriate Music.
For pete's sake, don't just slap in a random fighting music just to have music. Sound plays a major part in animation because it gives ambiance and emphasizes actions.
I agree :)

It wasn't bad. There were parts that were smooth and looked good, but most of it was kind of choppy and the kicks and punches didn't seem to have enough anticipation behind them. You also might want to make more frames to make it look smoother. It will take longer, but it will look much better. Just practice by watching tutorials and doing short test animations and you will get better in no time. Patience is a virtue.
G0Mute vs. Nafter: +3
This was a good animation. Very nice choreography and very smooth. The only thing I would work on is your intro length. Half of your animation was just the intro. In order to keep people intrigued, there needs to be more action. The fighting was really good though. More of fighting like that would be really entertaining.
Hanif13 vs. Ajazel: +2
This was a pretty smooth animation. One thing I noticed is that their limbs are a little squiggly. When they're moving they look fine. But just being more careful drawing their arms and legs straight would make it look a lot better. Also, don't do too much dialog. People do not want to watch two stick figures talk in not that good of grammar. Some dialog is fine. Just do more fighting than other boring stuff. Work a little on your effects. Make them look a little more realistic. Watching tutorials helps.
Shield n' Mirrors vs. roxon2000: +1
That choreography was okay. But you need to work on your effects. Make them more smooth and less lines. You need to make your stick figure look more fluid. They were pretty jerky throughout the whole thing. And...don't do too much dialog. More fighting.
Metal vs. Loore: -1
It was really short. I don't know how much time you had, but maybe just 20 to thirty seconds longer would've been good. You can't really tell what the stick figures are doing. You need to take more time animating your stick figures to make them look more smooth and so viewers can tell what's going on. Some sound effects would also be good.
Shield n' Mirrors vs. Stickboy111: +2
Good amount of fighting and effects have improved. They still need a little bit more improvement to look more realistic. And the stick figures are still a little jerky. Maybe a few extra frames in some places and it would look a lot smoother.
Dr. Breadgun vs. Blaze: 0
I liked the way you went into Deconstructor's view. But you need to work on your facial expressions. And choreography was good, but you need to work on making your stick figures smoother.
Fronox vs. Silverbrick: 0
The earth effects were cool. I liked the big earth wave at the end. Except, when silverbrick smashes through the whole thing, the top half would've fallen to the ground. I know you only had a few days to complete this, but when you have more time to make animations in the future, make them a little longer. The hammer smash at the end was kind of weird. You will probably want to add more anticipation to hammer attacks to make them look much more powerful.

View Profile Mage 101 vs SirPoopington: +1. It was ok but needs better construction
G0Mute vs Nafter: +0. I loved the fight but the intro was extremely long and annoying.
Hanif13 vs Ajazel: +1. I like the fighting but the sticks could look better and have better faces :)
Shield n' Mirrors vs roxon2000: -2. It looked unpleasing to me and the tweening was pretty bad
metal vs loore: +0. It was made with pivot which I find to be bad off the start but the fight was really fast but I liked the weapons and it was overall ok.
Shield n' Mirrors vs Stickboy111: +3. This fight was my fav animation I love the nhazul theme and how smooth it was it was a bit fast but all the angles took a nice effect on it nice job :)
Dr. Breadgun vs Blaze: +2. The robot vision it was a nice touch to it and the eye was really good. The effects were really nice and the angles were flat out awesome the SFX were on point nice.
Fronox vs Silverbrick: +0. It could have been better with more smoothing factors but it was really cool and I think that it could of been better tho... The animation looked like pivot and im assuming he used flash so yeah
My personal take on things thanks :)

A nice animation in general, there was good smoothness and fluidity to it and the music wasn't a half bad choice.
G0mute - +2
Long intro and lazy backrounds but the rest was good and smooth.
Hanif13 vs Ajazel - +1
Music could be better, some movements were a bit too fast to understand and I found the movements a bit whacky but a good try at the backround. Try watching a few martial art combat videos.
Shield n' Mirrors vs roxon2000 - +2
Backgrounds could use work (But a nice attempt anyway), SFX are needed and the movements were either too fast or whacky for me to understand them.
metal vs loore - +1
Great work considering that it was made in pivot, but try adding some SFX. (I think Zed might have made a tutorial for that.) Only problem for me was the speed of the animation and that the credits were 1/3 of the whole animation.
Shield n' Mirrors vs Stickboy111 - +3
Not many problems with this except that the text were showing and going way to fast to be properly read.
Dr. Breadgun vs Blaze - +3
I'll be honest, I was not expecting something this good when I clicked on the link. The movements made sense and were fluid, the robotic stuff was great and it was a brilliant attempt at backround. I'm looking forward to more in the future
Fronox vs Silverbrick - +1
ahaha that was a funny ending, there was nice movement too, though my only problem was with the text, it just felt like it didn't fit in with the animation itself and was a bit out of place.
