Well I don't use flash so I cant criticize. I found it appealing but ignore this, I use pivot. Wait until people who actually use flash to post on this. they know what there talking about lol.

The first "slow jog" part doesn't look like running; it looks more like fast walking.
The second "fast running" part actually looks decent, but it'd be better if you show more in-between animations.
Also, on both of these, the arms shouldn't swing that far back. If anything, the arms swing more towards the front than towards the back.
I have a very old animation here that might help show how a 'proper' run loop should be: http://sta.sh/0rrwvpm9x2w
Of course, there are many styles of run loops, but that's just the way I do it. Feel free to use any other style.
Keep it up!

It was choppy and needs more improvement on the movements.

You don't need to have flash to criticize a flash animation. All the basic concepts of stick animation is in pivot and flash.

The first part just looked like purposeful walking but the rest of it was okay.

I liked how you progressively got faster, the stances should have changed more though. The third one was fine but the first one should have been more calm and more hmm upright as if it was a calm jog.
