We are both beginners, and this is both our first RHG battle.

i go for Calix, because it was longer,smoother and... uhm.(i'm not good seeing positive or negative things)
but Jet's part was also good, but too short too me. but pretty good with pivot, but also not THAT good.

Yep, I go for Calixer too. Much longer, smoother, also you put some nice effects on it.
But you guys have a clear problem with sounds. These sounds lack of strength, we don't feel any power in the attacks.

Well, both animations werent that good.
But i voted for Calixer cause it seems he put some much more effort.
As for advices, you can like watch some simple tutorials about basics, it will be useful to both of you :D

i like both anims. Calixer looked like he put in a lot of effort but on the other hand chase ures looked rush although u guys had 8 days. I picked calixer cuz he put in a lot more effort. Calixer bro just work on yo stick constructions and effects and yo animations will be THE SHIT!
Chase just put in more effort in yo anims and i kno dat im not in any position to tell u or any other pivoters this but...... we need to stop using super speed to refrain from actually animating movements

I could have made it better, but I went overboard and animated more than I could handle.
And, I figured out most animators would have around 20+ layers for that, while I only used 7.

I had so many problems because of 7.
Well, now I know my limits, at least.

Man creating layers is free so dont worry.
I make a layer for every single thing in the animation.

Aaah, a new Battle :D here we go:
Calixer, your animation is........ weird. It is smooth, really smooth! love this. But the fight... it's not like a fight... (dont know how to explain it :3). I rly feel no power in the attacks. (dont know how to explain this aswell...)
Chase, nice pivot animation. nice effects. but not rly smooth.
Both of you used SFX, that's cool. but both of you can improve with SFX, they are a little deplaced.
All in all 2 really different animations. Technically, Calixer's animation is muuuuuuuch better, BUT it is simply not nice to watch :/
So who gets the vote? Hard to decide.
I vote for Chase.

I rushed it in an hour because my main computer had a hard-drive failure until the two last days when I got it back from fixing.
I didn't have time to animate the power and the combos hahah.
