I think the gist of it is that you're all gathered around anyway. I don't see why he wouldn't want you to post.

Ah, alright.

*Cipher lightly taps Captain Fox's shoulder and salutes the moment he turns to look at him*
[Calm]: Sir, I'll go check up on the radar's and report back to you immediately if you're still worried about someone chasing us.

Eli turned to Fox "Well shoot, they're just the most trustworthy fellas I know! I mean I haven't met with them in a while" As he turned his attention to Sirveir he stated "But they should just be in a station floatin' around Tulcania. Those Nuts-fer-Brains would give us the worth of a whole gold mine for just half of this junk."

"Thats no way to talk about your mother, Sirvier. Now speak to Eli and plot the course. "

"Do you want me to prepare meals, captain?"
Rotveil asked curiously as he scratched the back of his head.

"Yes sir." He quickly spat out. After hearing what Eli had to say, Sirveir briskly walked to the bridge and began plotting a course for Tulcania.

Alec answered with a curt bow and a simple sorry for speaking out of line, then he stepped back, once again just gazing and tapping his fingers against his leg, as if solving math problems that were or were not there.

Fox realised that many of the crew members looked up to him, and a wrong word could crush their spirits.

[REASSURING TONE] "Don't worry about it. We'll get you some new toys to play with."

"Yes, Engineer Julian will need all the help he can get. I also need you to make sure our thrusters are up and ready. If we're attacked, we need to move quickly."

Fox stared at the man. There was something about this moneyhungry troll that he didn't trust. But he was good at his job. Very, very good. Fox wheeled up to him and stared at his face.

[INTIMIDATING TONE] "Eli... you've seen what happens to the people who get on my wrong side. You're not putting us in danger just so you can make a quick buck, are you?"

Fox fixed his gaze on Eli. He wanted to notice the slightest twitch, the smallest flicker of a grimace on Eli's face which would tell him if he was lying or not. [PERCEPTION CHECK]

Sirveir paused for only a moment, waiting for the answer he needed to either continue or cancel his current operations.

i dunno how this is gonna work if you guys keep on piling on action after action after action after action

how the fuck is cook meant to write the story

i propose limiting the number of times people can post new actions inbetween story updates. say, you get two posts - that gives you a chance to give an initial response, and then a response that takes into account the actions of others where appropriate, or to communicate with your allies or what have you

i imagine the commander might need an extra action or two to spend, but otherwise this is probably going to get out of hand. it looks to me like it already has, and we haven't even fucking started doing anything yet

*Cipher makes a quick nod and quickly but silently moves towards the TER(Thrusters Engine Room) to set thrusters to minimal output and then once finished, will move on to support Julian*

[Reassuring Tone] "No siree! I'd trust these fellers with my life, they'd never hurt a customer. Especially an old friend like I am."

[Convincing Tone] "Besides, I'm sure you don't wanna hold on to this stuff any longer than I do. I'm not saying its risky holdin' onto drugs, but ya never know. I wanna get this outta our hands as soon as possible so we don't gotta deal with any problems."

OOC: Agreed. Actions are meant for actions. Most likely ones that require a roll of the dice to see if they succeed or not. They aren't meant to tell everyone the tone of your voice when you speak every single time.

"You might want me to omit some of my findings if you want me to scan all of space." Julian said, grinning snarkily at his Captain. "Otherwise the sheets won't have anything but your mother plastered all over them."

Nodding respectfully to Fox, Julian continues his trip back to his post.

OOC: Whoa, slow down ScareBro. Just disregard that Perception check in that case. Cook was online when I posted that which is why I thought he'd get it out of the way soon.

Eli seemed to be telling the truth, for now atleast.

"Set the course, first mate. I'll be keeping an eye on you, Eli."

"Agreed." Fox said with begrudging respect for his quick witted Engineer. "If I wanted my own comeback, I'd have wiped it off your mom's chin." He remembered these jokes told to him by his great-grandfather back when the internet was still relative new.
