Hi guys, I have a question, If a player have more than 1 accounts is Legal? because I hate when a newly player have W/L: 55/5, 59/1,etc. I see this a lot of times...
If is illegal I can report him?.

It's annoying to deal with, but it's not illegal. There should be a better system in place for moving up alternate accounts. Maybe division testing?

These questions are better handled over here: The general SE section.

That's sad to hear. :(

At least it's just 3 days.

I've been away tending to a sick family member for the last few weeks. Sorry for the lack of a response to new posts in the SP related discussion thread, I will address them shortly when I am back at full capacity. I wanted to make an official post in regards to a recent 3-day ban on Hewitt just so that there is official word as to why this happened (also in case misinformation starts being spread around).

For transparency, this is the official reason shown to Hewitt:
This ban has been triggered by your recent harassment of a member, but the decision includes your history here and was agreed on by the mods. It's not only due to this single incident. Please decide to stay or leave, don't take it out on others.

We received reports last night that Hewitt had sent a number of PMs that caused a specific member to feel like they were being harassed. Hewitt has a history with this member and has been making jabs at him in random threads since an incident that occurred a little while ago where an altercation between them resulted in Hewitt losing out on a mod position. We reviewed the contents of the PMs and the mods agreed that, considering his history here and in addition to his history with this member, a 3-day ban was appropriate.

EDIT: To be clear, I am being a little more descriptive in this case because I don't want there to be any questions as to why we ended up agreeing on a ban. Being vague just creates an opportunity for people to make their own assumptions. I don't intend any disrespect in my choice of words, just stating the events relevant to this issue.

I still think it's pretty messed up just to put his business out there. The people that care the most have ways of getting in touch with him.

No offense, but people who can't handle a message on the internet will pretty much fall in the real world. Whatever I guess, rip Hewitt.
I kinda agree with Arch-Angel, but correct me if i'm wrong, people can't go on forums during ban so they won't see the message? Even if they can, would they log into stick page forums without the ability to post? No point in that imo.

Jeff pasted the ban message that hewitt received, and he can log off and view the forum still, he just can't post. He's read this thread.

Putting the offenders' businesses out there is pretty much the point of this thread. Hewitt hosted many games and I can see lots of people asking about it.

How would anyone else know that he did though?

In what way? I hardly believe that what I wrote constitutes as "putting his business out there". The only thing I included that could possibly be seen that way was included because it's a key point in his decline within the community from the mod's perspective. Even then I wouldn't agree that incident should be private, because Hewitt made the issue a public one when he let it affect the way he interacts with the community in public. Without specifically mentioning why he's been harassing this person, it just seems like we banned him because of some mean words which isn't the case. That's the whole point of this thread. I think it's pertinent to put forth the official reasoning regardless of who it is, at least then you're getting two sides of the story if the banned user tries to paint themselves in a different light.

As pointed out already the point of this thread is to address certain bans to the public, since there's almost always questions when it happens. This isn't a thread to let the banned user know what happened or to only let people close to him know, it's to let anyone know what happened and to publicly clarify what our reasoning was for banning him so there is less of a chance for assumptions and misinformation to be spread around. Also please note we aren't just banning him for "a message" he sent on the internet, it's pretty clearly written more than once in my post that there are other factors at play in our decision. I don't harbor ill will towards Hewitt and I'd welcome him back either way since he's still one of the best members of this forum to me (past or present), but what he did was not acceptable and we have to treat the situation fairly.

In case anyone asks, AsePlayer was banned for 1 day for minor spam. He's not learning from infractions so we've moved up to day bans until he shows improvement.
