I agree with Skele. A replay's performance is based on a computer's performance. Even with my kind of internet it plays the replay smoothly. I can even put it in fast forward and high quality and it will still play pretty good.

I record my replays in 100% quality and get 0 lag all the time xD
That said, I can get lag if I pause the replay for too long, but the lag goes again if I restart the replay. I think pausing and then unpausing makes the replay 'fall behind' or something and constantly struggle to catch up again to where it should be.
