Comic Brawl UnNamed_
The following is a commutative collaboration of ideas based off of the original comic brawl concept by Ebsketch. It is therefore a community driven activity.

LADIES, GENTLEMEN, BOYS, GIRLS, AND OTHERS, SIT YOURSELVES DOWN AND HAVE SOME NICE CUPS OF TEA AS I IMMERSE YOU INTO THE STORY OF A LONG LOST WORLD, TOLD THROUGHOUT ALL POSSIBLE TIMELINES.

The stage is set in a distance future, where the World Government has taken over the everyday lives of Earth. Majority of the world’s free will has been brought under the full control of The Order, a branch of the government who has established an absolute rule to bring about true order and balance. Those who dared opposing The Order’s ideas of being mindless drones have been sentenced to a remote prison planet just outside of Earth’s atmosphere. The planet itself, referred to as: The UnNamed_ remains a barren wasteland, ravaged by war and blanketed by mutative agents that have evolved most of the planet’s wildlife into horrific abominations. Since its establishment, The UnNamed_ has been since divided into two factions: The Rebellion, which is comprised of former prisoners who now fight for their freedom. Then there’s The Order itself, who has terraformed parts of the planet to provide civilizations to the electives who keep the prisoners in check.

You are amongst one of the prisoners sent to The UnNamed_, condemned for crimes against The Order. What you do from here on out is solely your decision. The story is thus, driven by your actions and the path you take. I therefore ask you this: Will you join the path towards freedom and chaos? Or will you redeem yourself and become an enforcer of order? The Brawl begins with you.

HOW TO APPLY!

For late participants, once the Brawl starts, PM me your applications.

To apply for the brawl participants must post the following information in the thread and fill it out. All information MUST be present within the post.

Name: (Should be obvious, the name of your brawler!)

Character Image: (An image of your brawler. No image restrictions. Spoilers for large images, around 800 pixels or more)

Character Color(s): (Post all hex codes used for coloring your character here so everyone knows what to use to draw them!)

Abilities: (What sort of powers does your brawler possess? It can be anything you can think of, as long as it’s something you can draw. Creativity is encouraged here.)

Weakness: (Everyone’s got a weakness! No one’s perfect. These can be anything from personal issues to ability flaws. Be sure however that your weaknesses are somewhat relevant to your character’s powers/traits.)

Personality: (This is optional, but it helps give your character more flair.)

Story: (We all got some history behind us. Tell us how your character came to be, maybe even what they did to become a prisoner here? You can be as detailed as you want.)

Art demonstration: (This is just proof of your artistic skills. So we know you’ll be putting some good amount of effort into your comics at the very least. Evidence must be recent, and also can be made up on the spot.)
RULES:

As with most game stuff, we have some rules you must abide to so as to be sure this doesn’t go down in chaos and we all can have some fun.

-First Come First Serve: A big issue that tends to happen every now and then. Say someone posts their comic, and you wish to fight them. As you’re drawing you comic of your character fighting their character, another participant beats you to the punch, and now his character is fighting the opponent you wanted. Unfortunately for you, you must edit your comic to comply with the current situation if you wish to still fight the original opponent. KEEP IN MIND however, that this does not mean you can just submit a 30 second made comic. Your comics must have some effort put into them regardless.

-No God-Modding: If there is something your character cannot legally do (by that I mean it was not stated in your character’s profile, or it’s naturally impossible in any sense) then they cannot do it. A common example is if a character can avoid pretty much all harm done unto him and practically be untouchable whilst being able to attack everyone else without question.

-One Unit per Comic: Because we prefer not have everyone randomly teleporting everywhere around the entire map, characters can only move one unit on the map per comic. There are no exceptions for those with powers such as flight, teleportation, super speed, etc.

Any Program Are Acceptable: Stick, Full-Body, Pivot, etc.; all art forms as well as programs are welcomed.

Turn Signatures Off: We want as much space as possible in the thread to brawl so it is advised you turn off your signatures when posting in this thread. To turn off your signature, go to:
advanced options > scroll down > additional options > uncheck ‘show signature’

Follow Standard Stickpage Rules: Should be obvious. Just follow the site rules and you’ll be fine!

Posting Template: When participating in the brawl, it is best and most required that you post your comic in the following format:

*spoiler title here* (Click to Show)

Spoiler (Click to Show)
on in your comic here*
Spoiler (Click to Show)
ng where your character currently is. Don't forget to add the map description.*
Fighting System:

Action Point System:

 • Start off with 10 points
 • Rewarded by judges who rate comic art
 • upon application submission, 10 points can be invested within the following skill classes:

- Strength - Physical endurance and attack strength
-Magic - strength of certain abilities and finishers
-Agility - amount of frames and attacks in comic

Elemental System:

 • Incorporates rock-paper-scissors type of battling
 • Biomes influence powers of certain players

SUGGESTIONS!

As of now, this thread serves as an open discussion thread, so we can further flesh out the way the brawl can work out. We have our own ideas, but we need your guys to help solidify them.

Which would mean for every attack (there will be an attack chart stating how much damage certain attacks like punches, kicks, elbows etc. will do) I do i'd do:
+2 extra damage (if I did a punch instead of it doing -5 damage it would do -7)
+1 damage for every special attack (If I did one of his special attacks that I created instead of it doing -10 it would do -11)
and +3 extra panels (for ever fight comic you can only have a specific amount of panels, but building into agility would give me 8 panels to use instead of 5)

And then you can only spend 7 points in overall while being limited to only +5 per attribute.
Well we discussed this for hours in call
s but we didn't post all the details cuss we wanted to see how people would react to it first, but I guess now is the best time if any.

How it would work is that one player encounters another and challenges him to a battle (unless under ambush/assasination attempts in which still needs to be discussed)
The opposing player accepts challenge and thus they begin in battle.

-For each battle comic only less just say 5 comic panels are allowed
-Each player then wagers the amount of Action Point (which are received through out making comics) they would be willing to lose/double by winning or losing the fight
-Players use the action points that they have wagered to do Basic Attack (punches/kicks), Special Attacks (Some Special Attribute of your character that you create to use in a special sequence; can only be used lets say 5 times per battle; deal more damage than basic attacks), or finisher (can only use these lets say twice per battle, also some special attack sequence that you create and later document in you characters application page that will then be updated on the character directory that SK will make later on)
- Action points are lost due to using attacks, or being hit by opposing attacks
- Whoever loses all there actions points first has lost the battle
- Victor of battle then gains the wagered amount of action points of the opponent

Once a player has overall lost their whole sum of Action Point in the Brawl in general (outside battle) they then die.
They can be revived by another player sacrificing a certain amount of Action points to them.

Once a player dies they can either respawn at a pre-designated location, or make a new character.

That should the gist of the battle system

As for the elemental system its simple
- You choose one element for your character, or a mixture of 2
(you gain twice the benefits, yet double the weaknesses)
- Each special/finisher attack is based off an element.

-Opposing elements deal more, or less damage to each other
(Fire Special attack vs a water elemental opponent would do +1 damage all around etc.)

-Environment affects character due to elements
(Fire elemental in a Snow biome would do -1 damage all around etc.)

And that should be the gist of the elemental system.
Of course it does need to be fleshed out a bit, but that's why we're discussing it.
Ultimately it comes down to who uses the
ir wager'd AP's the most efficiently. Of course there would be limits for how many of each attack you can use per comic so people wouldn't just be spamming punches and kicks and stuff every single comic.

And there would be perks you could exchange for AP (a beta idea I've been thinking on)
So lets say you earn 200 AP, you could trade those in to now have the perk to use more than one basic attack per panel or something like that.

Name: Super Tau or just Tau for short.

Character Image:
Super Tau (Click to Show)

Character Color(s): Dark grey, Purple, and yellow. (exact hex's dont really matter I guess lol..)

Abilities: He's extremely strong, very fast, and has super dexterity..like a superhero you know, all his normal traits are enhanced? He also has a a suit like force field that surrounds his body almost skin tight. It can be broken, but its not particularly easy. This shield can also be manipulated and bended to some varying degree if he wills it to.

Weakness: His Powers need to be activated. Once activated hes practically a fucking super hero, but his powers only last a certain period of time. At which point he returns back to his average self.

Personality: While his fighting skill are spot on, he IS a bit straight forward. He's not dumb, but he can be a little arrogant and prideful which leads to him ridiculing his opponent (making snarky remarks) and often times making things more difficult than it HAS to be. He's sort of a direct guy, not stupid..just direct.

Story: He's training to be the very best, Like no one ever was!

Name: Boom!

Character Image:
Ain't ein's worr' bout that filter (Click to Show)

Character Color(s):
You can draw him whatever drawing style you prefer I don't care.
Pants: #314800
Shirt: #000000
Outline: #000000
Skin: #663300
Eyes: #FFFFFF

Abilities: Boom has infinite amounts of explosives whether its: Dynamite, C4's, Cartoonic Time-Bombs, RPGs, Firecracker, or anything that explodes. He mainly carries around his trusty RPG which he uses most of the time. Because of all that he carries he is stronger than the average bear and can carry three times his weight even though he looks like a man of average build.

Weakness:
He is ironically asthmatic thus using too many explosives in a short amount of time the dust will make him cough and wheeze and possibly make him vulnerable. He is also very short about 4'5 so even the simplest of climbs can be hard for him.

Personality:
Having lived underground in the slums he has a dirty mouth and lack basic manners. Though he can be a hothead you'd have to do something big to trigger him.

Story:
He was banished years ago due to his terrorist action.

My Character (Click to Show)

Name: Rogers, Alias is Hammer and Anvil

Colors: He is the height of a normal person in comparison, so let's just say 5'10". As you can see he is not fat nor skinny, he is fit.
Shirt and arms are black
pants are grey
hair is brown
eye are purple
Hammer's other eye is red, Roger's is blue, and Anvil is green like his panels, which are transparent

If drawn as a stick figure, just make him grey with black arms. Shields must still be green.

Abilities: Darkforge: An alien technology that is integrated as his arms that were previously amputated. They are near indestructible and are able to morph from their basic forms, where they take place as normal five fingered body parts, though the fingers are like talons, they give him higher than normal human capabilities in power, but nowhere near superhuman, just athletic to where he can easily overpower a normal human.

Hammer: Darkforge's attack mode. He is equipped with a large morning star which is used to crush his opponents while his four pronged claw is used to grab them. The claw cannot extend but despite how I drew it, he does have a slightly longer reach than a normal hand.

Anvil: Darkforge's defense mode. He is able to utilize six shields that are each controlled by simple movements from each finger. He has three fingers on each hand, he can use them somewhat offensively, but Anvil is mainly just defense. His panels can move anywhere within a two feet radius of Anvil, and can join together to create a larger shield. Each diamond shaped panel are about two feet across and two feet long, about as thick as cardboard, but they can take many hits.

Weaknesses: Hammer is not able to easily defend himself, being that the only thing that could stop a weapon would be his claw. It takes roughly three seconds to alternate from each form. Anvil requires massive concentration to utilize properly as each panel must be mentally accounted for and kept track of, so he prefers not to move much in that form. He has the speed of a normal person, able to run a mile in 8 minutes, so when it comes to fighting, he relies more on using his reaction time and claw to pin down his enemies rather than to chase them down. Hammer is also very vulnerable to ranged attacks, being that he doesn't possess the ability to gap close well or to deflect projectiles easily.

Personality: A decent kid warped by experiments. He has seen too much death and been through too much pain to accept anyone easily. He tends to stay alone and when he gets into a fight, he doesn't tend to leave his enemy alive. He does long for a friend however, being that solitude and seclusion drains him like poison, bringing back nightmares from his past. He is susceptible when hungry however, being that life as a test subject has taught him to take food when offered, hunger must be avoided. He is suspicious of kind acts, but continued constantly and he'll eventually open up. He finds it very hard to fight people he has grown to trust or be friends with, so easy target against sabotage and such. Everyone has the same personality, there's no personality or voice changing with form changing.

History (Click to Show)

"A good anvil should be able to take hits, and a good hammer should be able to deal good hits."

Stats and Abilities (Click to Show)

Other stuff: He lost his eye in an experiment. He keeps it wrapped up in bandages, but if they were ever ripped off it would show raw/burned skin, with bone about an inch around the eye, and then a black metal orb with a colored pupil (colors being either red for Hammer, blue for Rogers, or green for Anvil)

Name: Nagina aka Diamond Scale of the Bright One (على نطاق والماس من واحد مشرق)

Character Image: It's an adopt from someone. The story, name, and others are made by me.
Nagina (Click to Show)

Character Color(s): Kinda hard to describe, but lots of green, gold, pink and red.

Abilities: Nagina have to ability to burrow underground. This allows her to find and consume nutritional specimens, especially insects like scorpions, spiders, lizards, etc. When spotted, she can slow down her heart-rate, relaxing her and remaining her silent for a while.

Nagina can actually sense the alignments of other people by sensing their aura by flickering her tongue; it's an instinct the Thaba'Shanz developed when coming across a stranger. From the scent of their aura, they can judge who's innocent and who's hostile.

Nagina has a spear made of hard wood and gold. The gold is heated up by the sun's ray to give it a scorching touch to the enemy when impaled.

Nagina can use her tail as a powerful weapon; wrapping around the victim and constricting it until the individual passes out.

Weakness: She can only burrow on sandy environments, although wet ecosystems like marshes work as effectively but she doesn't like to be covered in mud. Dry, earthly biomes takes time to dig under. Freezing environments are the only places she constantly avoids, and her skin is very sensitive to snow and cold waters. Hot places like the desert is what enhances her strength and mobility. Powerful shock-waves and/or tremors can force her out of the ground while feeling immobilized, leaving her vulnerable to attacks. Intense vibrations can also force her out of the ground.

Personality: Nagina's anti-social towards the modern individuals since she has never been outside the desert. Shy at first, but does open up to them overtime. She's very gentle and caring towards most humans, especially those who have redeemed themselves from their past criminal lives. Nagina is shown to be very curious towards human culture, and does get her into trouble for getting too inquisitive.

Nagina speaks normally, but with a dose of an Arabic accent. She occasionally stretches out the "S" letter hence that she is accustomed to hissing.

Story: For many centuries, the Thaba'Shanz nagas have roamed the scorching deserts of the planet. Although they've encountered very few humans in their lives, they are very reclusive and rely on themselves to benefit their people and culture. Over the years, some have died off from various diseases, disasters, and a lack of food and water. Despite living in a longer lifespan, they don't breed as much children; thus when they die, it has become harder for them to reproduce to benefit the population. Years past by and the Thaba'Shanz has dispersed to their separate ways, which ended up tragically. They are so few in numbers, everyone thought that they've went extinct. Nagina, one of the very few surviving nagas, is low on food and decides to exit out of her home to find some. She leaves out of her home and made first contact to the human world. So surprised with all the advanced technology, she decides to go in and explore.

Art demonstration: It's not much, but eh, what can you do?

As one of the hosts of this brawl, it is my duty to procrastinate and submit my work unnecessarily late

Name: The Valefather
Image: Do ignore how hard it is to see this image if you would be so kind~
What is a tablet pen when you can just draw on paper (Click to Show)

Colors:
Mask: #F4F3F0
Eyes: #000000
Skin: Any shade of black/dark grey
Clothing: #C1C1A4, #669966 for the seam patterns
Sash: #1E3F7B for one half #FFFFFF for the other

Abilities:
The Valefather is a golemancer, a person capable of constructing and manipulating golems for personal use. The Valefather has had the teachings of golemancy become a part of his everyday life, thus he is knowledgeable in its workings inside and out like the back of his hand. He is unique in the sense that he can manufacture golems within only a brief period of time, at nearly half a second, using nothing but thought to make his aesthetic designs come to life.
Golems:

 • The Valefather’s golems are mainly made from stone, but can be crafted with any other solid material—so long as he can supply them with a small amount of his blood.
 • His golems can come in any shape and or size, taking the form of humanoid like creatures to terrifying birds or even spider-limbed, snake tailed fish ballerinas for all he cares. This makes his golems very adaptable in any situation
 • Once activated, the golems are instantly connected to The Valefather’s soul, giving them an undying loyalty towards their master, moving according to his will, and coming to his aid should he be in danger.
 • Some Golems can be applied with special perks such as ‘flight’ or ‘burrowing’ etc. if given a specific shape and command.

The Valefather:
The Valefather himself isn’t a fighter, but he isn’t completely devoid of any combat usefulness.

 • The Valefather is quite intelligent, more so than others give him credit for. He can come up with specific tactics and strategies, using tricks and deception to strike his opponents with his golems at unseen angles.
 • If impending doom is upon him, he can utilize his golem’s own body for defensive maneuvers such as a human shield, counter attacker, or even a shelter for concealment. He always keeps one by his side for these purposes.
 • He can link his mind to his golems eyes, allowing him to observe from their point of view to spy on other brawlers or detect attacks.
 • The mask which he wears can deflect basic psionic/telepathic attacks and is bulletproof.
 • He carries a ceremonial knife that is used to draw blood from himself. It isn't a very effective combat tool however, and is more suited for finishing off weaken foes.

Weakness:
The Valefather is weakest at close range, thus he mainly relies on his golems to do all his fighting for him. Bypassing his golems will leave him vulnerable. As he needs his blood to actually activate his golems, he cannot make too much less he wishes to die of blood loss (He can produce a max of 10 average sized golems). Although he can use another being’s blood, the golem will either not activate, or not hold loyalty towards him, having a time lag between The Valefather’s commands and the golem’s actions or even end up attacking him instead (this is only the case if he uses the blood of a previously fought brawler). His bigger models also require more blood and must have their joints reinforced else they collapse under their own weight, making their production a tad bit longer than usual. Golems that are made of loose materials like soil/sand/etc. are also harder to hold together and need extra attention if in battle.

Personality:
The Valefather, is a somewhat eccentric and aloof sort of character. He tends to twitch every now and then, and can even be heard talking to himself or just not speaking at all, even when addressed. He can be a deceiving fellow, making use of lies for his own gain, and isn't exactly someone to trust your life with. The Valefather considers his works masterpieces, believing that his golems should be recognized by even those much stronger than him. The golems themselves are a reflection of his twisted mind, appearing somewhat deformed and sometimes can be faintly heard whispering devious thoughts. Although considered mentally unstable, he is surprisingly coordinated and can focus on many tasks in a single go. While these traits may bring the impression of a villain, The Valefather isn't exactly an "evil" person. He has a general understanding of concepts involving love, loyalty, mercy etc. but can never seem to fully grasp them.

Story:
The Valefather is among the few native lifeforms whom survived the planet's conversion into a prison. He was once a lone wandering sculptor, whom built statues of clay for his own amusement. He would visit towns every now and then, crafting sculptures for residents young and old. Despite the connections he made with those he came across, deep down The Valefather was lonely, and wished for true companionship. Unable to find someone who could really understand his peculiar personality, he sought to grant life to his own creations to give his empty heart a feeling of intimacy. Thus The Valefather traversed the ends of the world, finding a method to convert his blood into a medium to transform his inanimate sculptures into living golems. As The Valefather continued the usage of this technique however, it began forming an obsession within him. An obsession to create the perfect masterpiece any lifeform has ever seen. Eventually The Order would take control of the planet and reduce its surface to rubble. The desolation of his home world saddened him, but The Valefather pressed on, still hoping to complete his masterpiece for the world to enjoy.
