Well yeah at first i thought you were like what everyone else said, "Descent Artist" at the very least to give such a huge and intense critiques/comments like that - (those you give on the forum)
but anyhow, despite whatever you are, i just want to say this to all of those that likes to give CnC that, if you're gonna be so intense and judging about something, at least you know what you say and have a back up for it,
or other wise when people find out, especially if you have fans, oh boy, i just wanna say you shouldn't do what you do if you dont have a back up for it because when you act so big but in the end you end up
being just another one of those who fails before you, everything that you said will just all come back to you, i mean just think about it, i just feel like ya know LOL, not cool XD, NOT COOL at all mate. so take cautions
if you will, i think you should have a back up first before you go in too deep...


i know there is also others out there that give intense and merciless critique/comments, but i think they have their back up for that, so
dont just follow the crowd cluelessly. or else you'll be alone in the cage and find out that you were different from those guys,
like ohh shoot you forgot or you didn't know, they have back up and you dont, so be careful next time too mate, its very important :D


btw i really meant no harm or any offensive to you what so ever if you get what i mean. i just want you and others to see that, art is more complicated than all of you know, every pieces and
aspects of it is totally not what you think it may be, sometime certain things are, but i can tell you that life is unpredictable and you cant predict everything,
even the best artists doesnt get his angle and lighting right 100% everytime, like i said, life is unpredictable, that's a good example :D.

You should always try new things. I began with cartoon-esque things, then backgrounds / landscapes, then creatures and so on. Look at online tutorials, challenge yourself. There is a difference between telling people to change something and telling them to stop and do something else because they suck. If they stop and change they will not get better at what they started to begin with and just suck at that. Also note that most people/artists on this forum are young and easily discouraged so its best not to put them through harsh critiques.

As for yourself. Just keep practicing, watch youtube tutorials, and try new art styles.

Its like with animation. You are not going to be Terk or Resh level from the get-go. You will make the same mistakes over and over. At first you can barely make a stick run properly. Over time though you check your mistakes and revise / redo. If you aren't making mistakes you aren't learning.

As for the styles, you gotta test different things. A good trick would be to trace a few things and then attempt to free draw. See what style you like best, then tweak it into your own.
