Honestly I don't know why homeschooling isn't more popular than it is. Those are some of the smartest fucking kids. They're generally not as social, but otherwise they're really smart compared to most public schoolers.

Requires quite a bit financially, as well as dedicated time from parents to ensure that learning takes place? Of course, you could hire a tutor to do it, but that raises the financial requirements further. Though there are some online programs that are good for building a strong education, they tend to be supplemental in nature, and sometimes are also costly. Really, it's not easy to be a homeschooled kid, or parent to a homeschooled kid.

I said popular, not practical.

But yes that's why it's not. It is, however, wildly more effective than public school. Developing a system that teaches that much information to that many kids isn't easy to begin with.

They're also really stubborn and unwilling to consider other points of view, because they've been spoon fed biased information from their parents their whole lives. And they're pretty awkward people to be around. I wouldn't want to hire someone like that.

That's really true actually. This girl I dated who was homeschooled knew everything there was to know about theology off the top of her head. But she was also extremely racist toward anybody middle eastern, so THAT didn't last long.

I don't know man, homeschool them for information but have like sporting or art or social events that they have to attend. Or put em to work early in the factory to both be productive AND socialize. Two birds one stone.
