It's mostly because they are insecure about their true self.

On a bit of a different note, I was in the RHG section and read up on the thread talking about the rules of thread posting and such. Does it seem to anyone like it's a bit too much? Like holy shit, is that place filled with primary school children or something? I get you want everyone to follow the rules and thread formatting and all that, but damn...

Quote from Exilefor what it's worth I doubt you'll enjoy the company of more than 10% of the people you'll encounter as an adult either
Quote from CronosIt's kind of strange how a lot of people seem to dislike most people they meet. It seems like people around me are always bitching about someone that they dislike. For whatever reason that doesn't happen to me, and I just generally get along with almost everyone.
I don't think not enjoying someone's company = disliking them. Maybe someone could just be uninteresting to you, for example they like things that are completely irrelevant to you etc.

There's also a thing as not liking stupid people or anyone for that matter.

Well first of all, they don't really seem that bad
And second, they might aswell be primary schoolers, have you seen the utter lack of forum understanding that a lot of noobs show? It's unbelievable.

Anyone else annoyed by these "smart beats luck" ads about well sites? Like who the hell hangs out at oil sites anymore? I don't understand why Pandora can't get a different group to sponsor. How often do you hear about someone doing something stupid at an oil site? In my area I have NEVER heard of someone getting hurt at an oil site. Has anyone in the last 5 years ever heard of someone getting hurt at a oil site in your area? Or in your country for that matter.
I keep seeing these people going like "even then I knew what we were doing wasn't smart, we were lucky". How old are you? 35? 40? Was this 20 years ago when you went to this oil site? Culture changes fast in this century.
On another note I found one of the last remaining movie rental stores! When's the last time you've seen a successful one of those? (Not blockbuster).

I don't rent movies. It's really cumbersome when you are far away from the city.
On another note I f... I got into Homestuck (poor me) and I've read the first four acts. I'm watching the let's reads by the way and when I scrolled down to the comments they say stuff like "glad I didn't skip to act 5". Why? Is Act 5 where it gets really good or something?

I watched narratives as well. I could stay into it. It just didn't grasp me. Was interesting while I was listening to it though. I think I made it to act 5? When it focussed on the trolls I just stopped and just wasn't motivated enough to keep going. I drift away from things real easily

I finished Homestuck, and I think most people enjoy not skipping act 5 because it explains a lot of stuff about the trolls, some of the minor things about sburb/grub and some of it has some great

I don't know why, but this is hilarious. But no, Cruel, it's not a really good pixel game. It's an evolution of webcomic that lasted 7 years.

OH I'm thinking of Undertale.

Interesting enough, Toby Fox worked a lot with Hussie in regards to Homestuck, mostly in the music department. For that reason, Hussie actually added an Undertale reference in the end of Homestuck as a shout out to his buddy.
