That's it, I'm calling out console gamers. Just get a fuckin' gaming PC already.
Controllers are inferior to mouse and keyboard for most gaming experiences. Even then, the majority of new PC games have controller compatibility. We'll have to buy a new keyboard and mouse!? Just like most console gamers have to buy extra controllers and attachments, not to mention most PC's come with stock mouse and keyboard. We'll have to buy a monitor!? Well, shit did your TV appear out of thin air? Most new PC's can be HDMI'd into your TV anyways if you have to.
Yes you'll probably be paying more for a PC, but if
I can make a gaming PC happen in lieu of a console, then the main demographic, the well to do's of the gaming community should have no issue. Considering they'll be reluctantly doling out 60 USD for each of the exclusive titles that get released, in what is a desperate attempt from that console companies to stay relevant as they crank out their latest paper weight; which is just the next pathetic mutant in a series of degenerating consoles that are steadily becoming closer and closer to gaming PC's anyways.
Wow that's a run-on sentence.
When you consider the added cost of having a library of maybe a dozen good games for console and realize a PC far outstrips consoles in terms of performance, functionality and potential gaming library. Being that you can potentially play hundreds of good games mostly for free on PC and only buy the GREAT games you actually give a fuck about. I've actually saved money on my PC as a gamer.
Now, I grew up playing console. This is NOT a "PC master race" stance. But the fact is that most consoles are overpriced, yet under performing gaming PC's that many people bought out of some misguided sense of loyalty or obliviousness to the blatant superiority of it's competitor. They endured years of lackluster game releases and libraries looking more sparce than a balding cranium until eventually the
post mortem console industry starts finally pushing out games for you. But still, the console library is looking barely thicker than a holocaust victim, especially when the vast majority of these games are either ported to or ports FROM PC.
And I don't care what brand loyalties they have, or maybe the one or two exclusive games that looked good. When one person buys a product that provides more quality in functions, in performance and ends up spending
less than the person that buys the shittier product. What do we call that? A bad buy! When weighing all these facts that I've patiently observed over this console generation, how can we not just admit that gaming PC's are better?
I mean my PC isn't even top end and I can play most games on medium-high and record simultaneously without experiencing fps drops, I digress.
Speaking of exclusives! Let's take a look at some of the most popular exclusives for consoles! The real gooey stuff that PC's don't have, yeah!

WELL! I guess an initial look is pretty
fuckin' pathetic. SURELY there must be a TON of exclusive games that are going to make consoles seem in some way more enticing to play! Yeah!
WRONG!
This is sad. After reading this list, except for maybe the disgaea series I can't think of a console gaming experience I haven't had or could have an equal to or flat out better experience by it's PC counterpart.
But what about fighter games!? Well, there's plenty of great modern fighting games on PC and most of the all time greats are playable on PC. Not that there's that many modern fighters really worth that much time.
Sm4sh? Don't even make me fuckin' laugh, I thought about getting a Wii U just for Sm4sh and now looking at the Wii U I'm hella glad I didn't.
Because while I decided to switch to the better product and I've been enjoying the greatest gaming in the history of man. My console homies jealously sit there and justify getting fuckin' screwed.
Non-handheld consoles can suck both my balls.
