I got this computer for free and I've been planning to get a new one anyway

and I think the virus is from some porn site... so I think I'll just get a new computer.

I doubt there would be Malware on a porn site. A porn site would mostly have keyloggers, etc..

I think the one that gave me the virus was this ghey one I found, and accidentally clicked this ad that I was trying to block, because it was ugly.

I googled flash games and found 2flashgames, then later I wanted to go back there but spelled it wrong some how. It redirected me to the google search page and the top result was the adult version, but I didn't notice that until I clicked it. I watched one thing, accidentally clicked the ad which I THINK may have gave me the vundo trojan.

Which anti-virus software do you have?

only the pre-installed one, McAfee, this one that isn't working, "adwarealert", and spyware doctor.

Any recommendations?

Google give programs that match the words I type, and with a virus, I don't want any more ****ing shit on my computer that might not work. I actully want a human, if willing, to recommend a good one.

i had a virus problem a while back also, and i remember someone referring for me to scan my computer with this, (avast!), i never got to try it, considering my virus problem was a space problem

and besides, i've never had any problems with you in the past, no grudges. if the avast! thing doesn't work as an anti-virus protection, i recommend you do what you've always wanted to do, and get a new computer.
