Here's an example of mine of a perfectly good situation to take a nap.

This last New Year's Day I was supposed to work. Now see that's not bad, but I had to work at 8 in the morning all the way to 4 in the afternoon. Afterwards I was supposed to attend my friend's concert at 6. My parentos suggested to me to just rest at home New Year's Eve night. Here's the thing: Fuck that. Even my parents were going to have a party downstairs. I'd feel so empty not going out and enjoying myself on a night everyone is SUPPOSED to go out and enjoy themselves. So this is what happened. Ignoring my parents' advice, I went to a party after work. The party was insanely fun and I had the greatest time ever. In fact it was so intense the party didn't pass out until 4 in the morning. As I was laying down at 4 AM I was like, "Fuuuuuuuck. Gotta wake up in 3 hours." So I set an alarm clock on my phone. Woke up at 7, stepped over a bunch of passed out corpses and drove straight to my workplace (was still in my work clothes). I showed up and did my 8 hour shift feeling like total shit. And it was super slow because everyone in the world was still sleeping and/or hungover. So once my shift ended I arrived at home still feeling tired as hell. But in 2 hours I had to be energized for my bud's concert. So, NAP TIME.

Boy a nap could've never felt any better than it did that day. Everything worked perfectly, and I hit the show with a couple energy drinks. Booyah.
