Quote from _camila_I like the hard metal
Quote from _camila_I think my favorite kind of music are the choirs, opera concerts and such.
At this point I am honour-bound to introduce you to early Nightwish, Epica, After Forever, Powerwolf, and I can go on if necessary.

Quote from _camila_I just pointed out that I don't like it
I don't click his videos, or spent my whole day talking about him, I don't like ti discuss about it e-e
Talking about music, am I the only one with NO favorite band? >_>
I like a little bit of almost everything
yeah, i understand that, you just like a little bit of tibetan throat singing, then a little harsh noise, some lowercase music, and then a bit of avant-prog? wash it down with traditional native american folk? or maybe you throw in the musique concrete before the avant-prog. wanna talk about a little krautrock and post-punk since you listen to almost everything? still waiting on that freak folk recommendation btw. when you get your grindcore time in, do you like listening it early in the morning to wake you up? i'm trying to get into industrial music, what's the little bit of industrial you've been listening to? almost forgot... do you prefer onkyo to power electronics, and post-avant jazzcore to progressive dreamfunk? good taste if so. thx for the help, it's so cool to meet someone who listens to almost every genre now and then.
Quote from Ahmad9383I don't have a fave band too, I listen to anything good.
me 2, except rap and country lol
jk

You are the only other person I've ever met that has heard of Powerwolf. Bravo, sir.

Thanks zed, I knew about epica, I'll give it a listen to the other groups, I'm always looking for something new to hear
And Index, woaah so many music genres. I love to jump between each different rythm, hear to some sick electronic/dubstep music and then immediately to some really classic music like Bach or Mozart, the some Rise against music, to get back to immediate music, or epic score, it makes me goose bumps

but even though you like a few very different genres, you still listen to almost everything and have almost no favorites, right
like if i was gonna recommend you a sick electronic song, you would be just as likely to enjoy this
as dubstep, since you don't really have preferred genres? otherwise you could just say which ones you like the most, rendering the whole "i like everything" kind of pointless.

Index, what did I listen to, exactly? Is that a genre of music? What is that? I'm not trying to be funny or offensive, I'm legitimately interested into how this is categorized as music and how it's made.

Index that was the greatest thing I've ever heard. I can't believe I've never heard that before, why isn't it at the top of every chart ever? Holy shit. Your taste in music is astounding.

Godamnit Jeff; every time you post, I'm extremely tempted to fool with your wizardry.

i think you're missing the point; it's just an example of how she probably doesn't listen to genres like this at all. although i don't think it's fair to judge that album based on that song, it's a more silent and less musical one.
i heard about this because it's one of the favorite albums of this one guy who has listened to and rated over 8,400 albums.

What point? I heard a song and I liked it. Why does there have to be a point.

are u tricking me? i ran your post through my sarcasm detector a few times and keep getting the same result
Dec 14, 2012 1:56 AM #816499
