So last night I was at a party and some dude punched out this mouthy chick who was arguing with him, and escalated it to the point where she felt it necessary to throw her drink in his face and slap him repeatedly. I saw the whole thing, he only punched her as she was slapping him, probably to get her to stop. I think she got knocked out for a few moments but I can't be certain 'cause as soon as he did it a bunch of white knight males started getting in his face, and then some other guys got between them to stop the fighting, so I was focused on that. The whole time this chick's trashy friends are annoyingly trying to back her up by just repeating what she said and adding "uh huh" or "yeayuh" to it ("you is just a faggot ass bitch" "yeayuh, a faggot ass bitch uh huh"), and they were also inviting him to "do something about it". Then when he did something about it they changed to screaming and "YOU CAN'T HIT HER SHE'S A WOMAN".

The whole thing sparked an apparently heated debate after about whether it's appropriate to ever strike a woman. My opinion that I don't see gender when someone is up in my face and attacking me was apparently unpopular. I tried to explain that if I'm being attacked by ANYONE I will use force to get it to stop if I'm all out of options, but the people that didn't agree with me felt pretty passionately that I was a scumbag for thinking that. I don't understand this idea that women are untouchable. A lot of trashy women walk around saying and doing what they want as if their gender absolves them of any responsibility or potential consequences for their actions, which I think is bullshit.

I agree with you Jeff to an extent. Girls can be just as messed us a dudes sometimes, if some girl has gone out of her way to be aggressively violent towards me, I dont see why she should be exempt when any other guy would be punched in the face.
But then again, this needs to be taken to an extreme. I'm at fault for letting a situation getting that fucked up in the first place. Why didnt I just walk away from the drunk hoe? Could i not have talked my way out of it? And if worse comes to worse, do i really need to punch her out? A push or at very worst a back hand (if shes throwing punches and stuff) should be enough...

But i also consider someone who comes home from the pub and beats their timid, small wife for no reason less than human. :/
