So in class today, me and my mates are all having our own discussion.
One of them brought up church, and asked me if I go to church; My response was intended to be "I don't believe in a god, but I respect that you do." I wasn't able to finish the "respect your belief" part of my response because the instance I started speaking, this bitch that sits in front of my table, feels the need to cut me off and and insult me about my view and belief because she's a Dilusional theist who claims she knows a god to exist, and that I am what "the lord calls a fool".
Now, I'm agnostic; I acknowledge that I don't know if a god does or does not exist, nor am I insulting anyone elses belief; But I just can't deal with theists who take on people as one of 2 categories: "Yes, god exists and we know it", or "We don't know if he exists or not" "Then you're going to hell."

I was beginning to, refering to open minded awareness of others beliefs and general information, but by that time we were the only 2 in class speaking; I was talking, she was yelling.
It grew akward when the whole class stared at us, and the teacher finally broke it up.
One thing I know for sure; as long as she remains on that roster, that class will never be enjoyable again.

That's actually not true at all, some of the smartest people I know are religious (Smartest dude I ever met was a muslim).
Their arguments against religion are just rooted in fact and modern science, so they seem more appealing than arguments based on faith in texts and history long since past.

She'll learn subscribing to a religion isn't what makes you a good person, eventually. But these types of people exist everywhere in life, just looking for someone to look down on, its best to just smile politely and repeatedly say 'good for you'.
