My guess is one of two things (don't take it from me)
1: People didnt want to be "copy cats" and had to create something original, unused, and had to come up with extravagant solutions.
or 2: People got more creative.
I am going for the first.

It's the clanless hall. You can advertise here too but nobody really RHGs when they come to the Chat Thread.

And its fine. I'm not looking for j's respect. I just want him to fix his RHG.

I tend to concur with the first fact the most. But it could also be because they let their creativity run wild and got some tacky results.

That could also be possible, I let my imagination roam for 5 minutes and get the most random stuff.

Indeed, this is how I keep conceptualizing characters on the fly. All it takes is one 'basic' concept, some inspiration and an afternoon; before I know it I came up with a Volksgrenadier who wears a pair of electric gauntlets just because of a pun I made.

I'm still having trouble making those concepts 'workable'.

You got me addicted to that anime now. Just wanted to let you know. But why are you the criminal in it?

My previous avatar+sig was 'Penny' from Ep. 15 & 16 (favorite chara) but, to my dismay, people kept mistaking me for a girl.

Oh yes, Professor Oobleck. I was supposed to continue using him but I eventually wanted someone who's more presentable (I blame WWhiteSShadow). But he does suit me to an extent.

Anyways, any thoughts so far?

Like I said, "addicted".
I got into it just tonight finally. Haven't stopped watching it yet.

I also found Professor Oobleck hilarious

JUST got to the "You called me friend, am I REALLY your friend?" that was your signature

I tried watching RWBY once. I didn't even wait for the characters to be introduced. I saw the first 5 seconds of animation and just noped the fuck out. I'm not a fan of 3D animations, but I can tolerate them as long as they're not terrible. From what I recall, RWBY looked very, very half-assed and just weird. What's so good about it anyways? How is it as popular as it is now?
