You, American, does not belong there! BRITISH FTW!
(Okay, I think that's too much)

You know you're not really doing the British a favor here.

I'd settle for Jag-war.

But that's not how it's pronounced.

It's like when midwestern Americans call a wolf a woof, or, wolves woofs.

Wouldn't that drive you nuts?
I know in the grand scheme of things it's not important, but this is the chat thread goddamnit.

Jag-war is what makes sense the most to me.

I mean, there's no letter in the spelling that suggest the "ire" sound in "jagwire". I can understand if it's pronounced "jag-u-are", because each sound corresponds to the letters in the spelling, but it sounds horrible.

British people don't pronounce Cougar as Kew-Go-War, do they?

I swear we speak different languages.

Cougar doesn't roll the tongue the same as Jaguar. The u on cougar comes after a vowel, as opposed to the u on jaguar which comes after a consonant.

I understand the language is called English and comes from England, but since the creature is indigenous to our country I think we should have the right to decide what it's called.

Balderdash. Your animal is clearly named after our car.

The benefits of becoming a mod is that you can see all the deleted posts. But holy shit, I've never seen this many deleted posts on a single page before.

Good for you then.
Shame it got deleted that soon, I'd want to take several screenshots for 'StickPage's Scarce Events' as my personal collection XD
